is there any 06 owner got this problems? coz there is a thread in "other" forum talking about this, but i can not find any of threads here, let's start one~

got my baby 7 months ago, start skipping 4 months ago, bring it back to dealer for 6 times, they tried to cleaned, waxed, replaced the wiper, do everything they can, everytimes the wiper just good for about a week, yesterday i brought my baby to the service and told them may be the spring of the wiper is not strong enough to push the wiper on the windshield, and i asked them to change the wiper arm. When they done the service, they told me they will not replace the wiper arm coz their is nothing wrong with it , i am like......the wiper is not doing a job as usual and that is not conseder to a "problem" ?........talked to the service maneger and he got a 06 demo tsx and got the same problem, told me that it's the charateristic of the new style wiper, they canot do anything, i asked if they can change it back to the old style, and they want $350 !! he told me it's not perfect fit also coz the 06 windshield is different to 04 and 05............finally, he told me he will report to Honda and if there are many of the 06 hv the same problem, honda may redesign it........and he told me to email/phone honda in person, coz honda may not reply to dealship but not their costomers~~~so i will keep email/phone them with my problem unless they fix the problem~~~

anyone got this problem and i would like to hear yr voice~~~

$350???

The wiper blade inserts of the 04/05 and 2006 are interchangeable. Try buying the 05 blade insert... mine works fine... I was actually considering moving to the 06 insert... but after your post I don't think so.

As a side note... the Civic has the same blade style as the 06 TSX... haven't heard any probs from Civic owners.

$ 350 is for the wiper arm and wiper blade..............it's interchangeable but i dont think it will perfect fit !
civic doesn't have this problem ......may be because the windshield are different,

My 06 skipped and did not work from day one. I went by the dealer and they just said it was dried out. I tried bending the arm to increase and decrease pressure, but it only helped slightly. I finally replaced it and it is better, but still does not wipe as well as my wife's 04.
Only other issues are common to both (drivers window area noises, glove box rattles at times)
We love 'em!

My wipers wipe fine but it is kinda noisy though. It sounds like when you have your wiper turned on while the windshield is dry all the time.

I have an '06 tsx and the wipers have been like that since i bought the car back in aug. I recently replaced because it's been raining a lot in jersey and got this rain x wiper at strauss and its better than the stock ones, but it still skips a little once in a whilee. Try the Rain-x one out.

My 06 was doing it the same weekend I got it. Which reminds me, I need to buy new wipers before it starts raining around here lol

Are the 06 wipers in Canada different from the 04-05's? I thought Acura went to the flexible winter-type blade instead of the rigid-arm type, but not certain.

I heard from my dealer when I took mine for the first oil change, that he's been getting a lot of complaints about this issue as well.

btw, the engine feels/sounds so smooth after the oil change!

I replaced the rubber insert....3 months...so far so good. I agree this is a very common problem on the '06. My mom's '06 has the same problem. I just ordered her set of rubber refills - hopefully that will do the trick. I wonder what Honda ultimately will say about this.

Mine is like that as well but as I'm on the driver's side...and it doesn't rain much here, I just ignore it.
