So i got my 2006 no nav TSX a couple of weeks ago and i was planning to tint all 5 windows. I was wondering if there is some precautions that i should worry about before tinting my windows?

I think installing some moleskin to avoid scratching the tints is a necessity for the TSX.

sometimes the moleskin can cause scratches also. I got some small scratches and I have the moleskin installed.

I tinted my windows two days after I got my car and I think it definitely depends on where you actually do your tints! My dad's friend owns a shop and they did an EXCELLENT job! My dad had his tints for 5 yrs now and it's still looks nice and new! I had no moleskin (whatever that is) and my tints look great! I couldn't be happier! They did an AWESOME job! :grinno:

yeah, theres nothing really to prepare for it cause they should clean it up for you before installation. i got my tint a week after i got it and it looks great since.
congrats and welcome. :)
post some pics when u get the tints.......im sure youll love em.
i didnt get the liner when i got my tints. Ive had them for like 6mos now and i have 1 tinny scratch which can only be seen when the sun hits the window. Im very happy with my tints. :jump:
I think the most important thing is to make sure the tint dude is good at his job and to get a warranty. I have lifetime on mine....whatever that means and how ever long that is in their book.

Lifetime warranty means they'll be able to fix it for you for free if and when you ever need it! So, it's a very good thing! I have a lifetime warranty on mine too!
^ thanks shay!
that is nice...
once.....a long time ago i replaced the front rotors and brake pads on my integra at talmans tires (however u spell that) and they told me i had a "lifetime" warranty. so i was like sweet!!!! what do you know....9 mos later my pads were shot i go back and guess what they tell me. Nope!!! too late...the so called lifetime warrany was only 6 mos. I was like  so i asked them how come they didnt mention this little detail when they charged me 290 to get the front brakes and rotors done....and supposedly stating that they are the best after market parts u can get. LOL!!!! I could have gotten the brakes and rotors done in a friggin acura dealership for that much. Nitwit---me!
well that happened ONCE and never ever again.
so im somewhat hesitant when it comes to these statements of lifetime warranty. But i sure hope thats the case!!!!!

No problem, Dina!
Just make sure that you have that warranty on PAPER! They should be able to give you a copy of that statement as a certification after completion of whatever it is you are getting fixed or installed! Good thing I have mine on paper...and it says LIFETIME warranty! Always make sure you are being told the RIGHT thing whether it be verbal or a written agreement! Nothing worse than THINKING everything is copacetic and later find out you got JACKED! And always get their NAME!
One thing I learned from my field of work and basically every day life dealing with people, you always have to get the person's name who you conducted business with! It always helps when things don't go right! At least you can always back yourself up and show PROOF!
Thanks Shay!!! Ill be more ( a lot more) careful now
GOt F-ed once not again :bs:
