my poor baby was towed!!!

last Friday I was pulled over by a cop @ richmond on Railway/Francis for front tinted windows. The cop gave me a $700 ticket for:
1) failure to comply with order (forgot to do my inspection) - $598
2) tinted windows - $109

suks..... he even towed my car away!!! so here're some pics of my car being towed... so hurtful...

thanks cwis, n no they didnt damage my front lip... they used 2 piece of plywood to boost it up b4 they towed it so yeah... it was okay!!

check your car when you pick up the car at the police impound, those tow truck driver may scratch your car. Yes I tried before, can't claim to anyone, I have to pay and fix my car...damn!

They are haters. My friends' rides got towed before for no reasons too. They just hate cuz kids drive nicer rides than them man. But man, $700, that's hurtful bro! At least our car is FF, or else if they tow like that....it's gone.

My Theory is, lowered the car so much that they can't tow it....hahaha

man my integra was soo low they couldn't take it for real!! although it took them about an hour lmao i was laughin cuz they kept tryin to figure out how to do it. as soon as the cops left they told me to jus take the damn car cuz they were upset.

If I were you I'd move down to the States. You'll get a ticket for no inspection, but it won't be higher than $200 and your car won't get towed...

The only time I was disappointed in getting my car towed was when I had my 2000 Civic Ex! hahahahaa Don't get me wrong, I loved my car, but I was hoping it was stolen rather than towed because I wanted a NEW car! hahahahaa But yeah...I'm weird! :p

I know the feeling.. although the damage for this was A LOT worse.

Broken motor mount which dropped the engine on the left side and crushed the axle. AKA the reason i now have a TSX.

As long as the tow truck driver lifted the driving wheels, in your case the front, it'll be fine. There won't be any damages.

My car was towed last night. Don't really know why, may have been cuz i parked too close to the tow zone area or that the car in front of me couldn't get out. No idea how it was towed though (flatbed, driving wheels raised, etc.) I didn't notice anything bad or different when i drove it home. Is it something i should notice right away if something is damaged? I also leave my car in neutral with the e-brake on when i park if that helps.

I think the most concerns ppl have is always about the front end skirt, for those of us with low front ends, or other scratches or damages made on the paint or the interior. Other than that, there shouldn't be any mechanical problems involved, unless whoever towed it was a retard and towed your car on rear wheels without taking the hand brake off...

I would have tinted but I might move to vancouver.

Vancouver doesn't allow tinting of the front driver and passenger window. The car just looks to funny with just the rear window and the rear driver and passenger winows tinted.


BTW, never again would i get a tow without a flatbed (it states in the manual TSX can only be towed via flatbed I think). My old C36 was towed. They clamp some things on the front control arms or part of the suspension...he bent them. :(
