I took my 06 tsx into Acura yesterday for a rattle coming from the sunroof area, they said it’s coming from the sunroof track they ordered a replacement. It should be fixed by Monday, my question is after they are done will it look they same? I was at the dealer today getting some stuff out of my car, and they have taken a lot of stuff apart. I am worried I may end up with more rattles and have the headliner look jacked up.

So I got a call from my service advisor, he said he had bad news. Apparently the tech who was fixing the rattle coming from my sunroof let a machine “get away from him” and put two dents in the roof of my car. The dents were made from inside so they are protruding out, like it was done with a fork. My office is only 5 minutes away from the dealer so I went by to check things out, needless to say I am not happy….I am not sure how they can fix this without it being apparent something happen to that area. They are having a collision specialist look at it tomorrow. What would you all do??? I should also this car is only 5months old.

That really sucks!!! At least the dealership is doing something to rectify the problem. I brought my Integra to Burrard Acura a few years ago for a regular maintenance check. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed tons of small scratches along my front bumper. The dealership denied everything and told me to call my insurance company.

Oh yeah... I washed my car the night before and parked the car in the garage. I was confident that there were no scratches on the front bumper and I took my car to the dealership first thing in the morning.

Although I'm sure I would be pissed off if this happened to me, I think you should consider that they didnt do it on purpose. Atleast they informed you of it right away and are trying to resolve the matter. I'm definite that a collision shop can fix it just as same as before. Paint match shouldnt be much of a problem especially when your car is so new

Well I got my car back from the dealer yesterday, and it’s still noticeable their was something done in the area of the dents. Now there is a wave in the metal and they put two large scratches by the storage area under the radio. Taking it back next week for them to see what they can do about the wave, only good news is they fixed the rattle which was the original reason the car went in. Will see what happens next…

The dealer just offered to put me into a 07 TSX navi for close to 4k, my current tsx is non navi. I said if we split the difference, they said no
