hello,
i have a question regarding to an automatic transmission oil change.
so i have recently been to a local garage for an engine and transmission oil change, i brought my own oil there, 4.4 litre of mobil 1 engine oil and 3 bottles of honda ATF Z1. everything seems fine at the shop and i paid and left. after driving around for a week or two everything seems perfect but today when i was filling up at a gas station i decided to pop the hood and check the oil level, the engine oil dip stick shows that the oil level is right at the full notch which is perfect. and then i checked the transmission oil dip stick and it shows that the oil level is approximately 0.4-0.5 cm above the full notch, would this cause problem?
thanks for reading:)

I'm not an expert, but I beleive if the engine was still warm, it would show slightly higher than it really is. I think the best time to check fluid levels in the morning, after the car has been sitting all not, most acurate reading.

This is what I go by, but I might be wrong,.

It amazes me that people do not read the Owners Manual that is now included with every NEW car. Pg 285 "... engine at normal operating temperature...Shut off engine...should be between the upper and lower marks".
American cars are usually checked while running while in 5 Honda products, the engine is off. Also, most american products have a pan to be dropped to change the oil & filter while the Honda products have a drain plug with the filter only being changed when rebuilt.
