View Full Version : Gas Stations??

I was just curious in where everyone buys their gas for their car and what octane level? It seem like different gas stations have different octane level for their premium gas. For example, Chevron offers Supreme 92 while Petro-Canada offers 91 octane. I used to love going to SuperStore and filling up 87 octane for my integra. I would just collect my SuperBucks points for like a cheap video game or something.

Currently, I have been sticking with Petro-Canda (5.5 cents off if you sign up for the Petro MasterCard) and filling up 91 octane. Oh yeah... you can transfer your Petro points to Superstore points to buy a Nintendo Wii or PS3.

How about you guys?

I'm always wondering if Sunoco 94 will be the same quality as Esso/Petro 91. The reason why I'm saying this is, they usually have a cheaper price than others, but so as Shell. I'm planning to switch from Esso to Petro or Sunoco, cause Esso is always 3-5 cents more than others.

I use Chevron 92 octane. Have tried Esso before and got crappy performance. Have also tried Shell and Petro-Can, but since you get 92 at Chevron for the same price as 91 everywhere else, what the heck! More octane should be better!

Man!!! If you collected 210,000 Petro Points, you are able to exchange your Petro points to SuperStore Points. That is equivalent to $210.00 worth of SuperStore Dollars. Almost enough for a Nintendo Wii.

I've already got a wii. That's it?? Only $210 worth of goodies? All those 10 tens of loyal patronage to petro can and not even 1/2 of a ps3?? sigh...

On Shell 91 now, used to go with Esso 91 for the points but it would leave heavy black residue on the back of my PWP when i was on Esso...hasn't happened since I switched to Shell.

Bad esso fuels? :donno:

I never once noticed the issue yet. I should pay attention to this and see if I get the same black residues
