Hello all. Just registered to learn more about the TSX. I'm actually cross shopping/researching a couple of cars. As a tech at a dealer, a Honda/Acura makes the most sense to me.
Other choices include in no particular order: Fit Sport, Civic Si sedan, Legacy GT.
So that's that. I'll be browsing around for now and hopefully decide what to do with my EM1 sooner than later.

Hello and welcome L8apex! What qualities of a car are you looking for? The TSX, Fit, Civic Si, and Legacy all belong in different categories! So I guess that makes a choice more obvious when you're looking for particular qualities!

Hey a fellow Canadian! I used to live in Scarborough.
As for those choices, four seats is a must, four doors is a bonus. Preferrably a Honda for the above reasons and, let's face it, they're good cars. Also looking for something that's reasonably fun to drive but I'm tired of the "ricerocket" stigma associated with Civics. The Fit is nice and practical, and cheap, as long as you don't go too crazy with mods. Which is hard to do considering how cheap it is and how gutless the powerplant is.
It's almost a toss-up between the Si sedan and the TSX. The TSX looks better in an understated sort of way, which I like. The Si is cheaper, performs just as well, has LSD, but is a notch below the TSX in looks and quality, IMO.
I was also hoping for an FR platform, like a G35 sedan but a Legacy GT will suffice if I really must have the rear wheels driven.
With any of these choices, I'd like to keep modifications limited to springs, shocks, wheels & tires. Plus JDM badges if I go with the TSX.
