It's snowed like crazy where I live and all the snow turned into big chunks of ice as a result of extremely cold temperatures.
This morning when going to work, upon approaching speeds of 60-65mph, my TSX started shaking like crazy, causing me to almost lose control of the car. The VSA kicked in and put the car back on track(which is even more terrifying than actually losing control sometimes)
The road was not bumpy but it was slippery, and the steering wheel does not pull to either direction but the huge vibration causes the car to slide.
Normally I would say this is caused by lack of balance between wheels, but I had the tires balanced a week ago and I checked the pressure on them today. They're all at 32psi.
My other suspicion is a chunk of ice being stuck to the back of one of the front-wheels. I looked and couldn't really see anything. I kicked the tires and some ice fell off. Took the car for a spin again and the vibration is still there. It's not a normal vibration. It's a very extreme one. Not one that would be caused gradually.
I'm taking the car to a coin carwash to clean the inside of all wheels. Hopefully it's just a heavy piece of ice causing this.
I don't feel like calling Acura and booking an appointment, taking the car there, fighting with them for a loaner, waiting there for 1 hour, being with a shitty loaner for 2 days and coming back just to be told that "It's normal", or "We couldn't reproduce the problem"
Any hints?
