I've went every year since 2000.. the show is good if you just want to see all manufacturer cars, and if you don't want to make the trip down to Detroit.. or Frankfurt haha. They don't have much concept cars unlike detroit, but has almost everything else. The main reason I go is for their program book.. which is the autoshow program + Carguide 2007.. which has detailed stats on every 2007 car, very useful.

I would've gone for sure if I didn't goto the detroit show...
I don't mind going if there are others.. maybe we can have a TSXClub autoshow meeting hahah. I am not a fan of the $20...

I don't think I'm going to go to the Vancouver Autoshow this year

i went this past saturday. it was ok.

s2000 - the seating position is perfect, and the gearbox throws are lightning quick. i am so willing to live with this as a daily driver.

wrx (sti was locked) - i thought the seats were very comfortable and secure. the gearbox felt pretty good. the wrx was also an option when i was in the market for a car. i would've sat in the legacy, but, no 5MT on the floor.

g35/350z - too much people waiting in line. was very tempted to wait, but, opted out.

obviously, my views are to be taken with a grain of salt. sitting in the cars for about 1min max amounts to pretty much nothing.

That's my exact same feeling seating in the S2000.

From what i hear, it will get tiresome in long trips and the limited storage compacity does not make a good daily driver.

Best for a weekend or track/autox car.

I was looking into getting a S2000 before but I decided not to because the storage capacity is quite limited and not much room in the front to move around. I think it will get tiresome in long trips.. especially you can not recline your seat all the way back. The worst thing is there was no glove compartment. Do the new S2000 have it now?

The S2000 will make a really good weekend or project car though.

Tiresome on long trips is a yes - exhaust noise with top down and tire noise from trucks and cars along side and in front and back of you. No real storage with only 5 cubic feet in trunk. Of course, one can alway use the passenger seat and also put the top down for unlimited storage as long as it is up. But top down in winter would be a little cold.

Do I still love my S2000 - yes, I do.

i was there on the last day. The show was ok, nothing to get excited about, but i go to the show every year, so i didn't expect too much.

I was surprised they allowed people to sit in the RS4, and yet, the new Lancer was locked, LOL. The RS4 was sweet, but i heard it was mutilated. Someone managed to steal the CF engine cover...

Took lots of pics, but haven't had time to process.
