I went to a Zaxby's the other day and I have to say its pretty good, a bit pricey, but good. For those who don't know its a chicken place down in the south. I went to one in Memphis, Tennessee (Hacks Crossing location). I ordered the bix zax meal and some buffalo wings. I went back there again before I left and got a zalad.

I'll be going there again when I go back to the deep south again. Anything else there to recommend. I know Hondaman can chime in! :bowdown1:

never heard of it. We only got KFC, Church's Chicken and Nando's Chicken in Vancouver.

^^^^ you forgot Popeyes! I think they're chicken is better than KFC's! Then again, I looooove Jollibee's chicken too! hehe :grinno:

KFC is crap. i grew up on churches and popeyes. dont recall trying fried chicken at a place other than a chain restaurant. damn now i want some fried chicken for dinner.

Never heard of it....we just have KFC and Popeye's here. Church's Chicken is the bomb down in PR....

Never heard of Zaxby's. Occasionally I run into a Popeye's or Church's, but they tend to be rare out here. Boston Market's where it's at for me. :)

I think all the Chester chicken in vancouver closed down. I don't see them around anymore. The potatoe wedges are good too.

Zaxby's rocks...its a franchise found mainly in the Southeast. I was a regular at the original Zaxby's in Statesboro, GA back in my college days & before it became a franchise. Chick-Fil-a & Zaxby's can not be beat IMO when it comes to chicken...most of y'all probably don't know what Chick-Fil-a is either. LOL You guys are missing out! :D

They have a few Chick-fil-a around here, but there aren't as many as there are in the South, and here they are all in mall food courts or college campuses. No freestanding stores like they have in Nashville and Memphis.

As for Zaxbys, what items you recommend from their menu, JP?

Churches chicken was originally ChurchHill CHicken....which r0xx0rz!

Popeyes is close...only because they come with a big azz biscuit and mashed with cajun gravy ummmmmmm.

I went to Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend and went to Zaxby's!:bowdown:

I ordered the club sandwich....also had a caesar chicken zalad to go, on my drive back home! They didn't have that Bourbon chicken sandwich, I guess that was only for a limited time.:(

Roscoe's chicken and waffles in LA is some good stuff.

In TO, definitely popeye's and also Mary Brown's.

Cluck U chicken. They make you sign a wavier because their chicken is so hot. People throw up after that shit. Men would rather have milk rather than balls after a couple of wings.

I know this is totally off topic, but since it has something to do with chicken, I decided to share...hehe

I was out with two of my friends and we went to a thai restaurant for lunch. I can never remember the difference between dark and white meat, so when the waitress asked that question, I was like a deer caught in headlights. So, I just said what came natural, "I like breasts"....hahahaha :laugh: Of course I didn't think nothing of it until my friends started laughing! One of my friends was a lesbian, so she would always tease me about that! I never had a lesbian hit on me! hahaha But it's like our ongoing inside joke with eachother....YIKES! :surprised
