It is 8:15 am EST on 3/8/03, yet the forum has a time of 12:15 pm on 3/8/03.

Then I noticed "All times are GMT. The time now is 12:15 PM."

It appears that most of the posts are from US, so why doesn't the forum use either PST or EST or wherever it is operated?

Using GMT may be pretty neat, but I can't remember the last time I used it, probably back in elementary school.

Why not just go to a local time?

Otherwise a great forum! :)
