Saw a TSX crash on the highway.

I was driving home during rush hour earlier and saw a CG TSX pass me on the highway, next thing I see is the driver of that CG TSX on the shoulder. Apparently, the driver of that TSX had rear-ended a Saturn SL2, which then hit a Honda Civic. I immediately got off the highway and took two pictures. Heavy damage to the TSX, front end damage, hood bent up, and airbags deployed!

The driver of the TSX was okay, but devestated at what happened and went to sit in the grass. I couldn't tell about the Saturn driver. The police officer came onto the scene and rushed to all the drivers, but ran to the Saturn driver to check to see if he or she was okay. The Civic driver just got out and went into the grass to make a phone call.

I saw that TSX in my rearview mirror and pulled out my camera and took a picture of it. Then the next thing you know, I see the TSX make a sudden lane change and cause an accident. Like Tony said, you never know what will pop up.

Why did the passenger air bag deploy if there was not a passenger?

I don't know what's scarier... the fact he took the picture of the car right before the accident or the fact he took a picture while driving in relatively busy traffic. :)
