Saw a horrific crash today.

Yet again, I see another crash, but this time it was on the streets before 2PM and not the highway during rush hour. A brown Mazda Protege was trying to make a left turn into a shopping center sitting in the center turn lane. All of a sudden the Mazda driver floors to try and turn....then BAM!!! She hits a school bus head on! Lucky no kids were on the bus at the time! This was so horrific, the Mazda burst into flames and the school bus hit the curb! Some ppl from the Jiffy Lube quickly rushed over and stopped the fire in the Mazda.:eek:

I pulled over and some ppl got out of their cars to help the asian lady trapped in the Mazda, I was in shock and crying at what happened! :bawling:

The bus driver is okay, but the Mazda driver died on the way to the hospital....and before someone asks, yes, I did take some pictures of this since it happened right in front of me. Also, a newspaper reporter happened to be there too and took pictures too, so I wasn't the only one. I also called for help as well as dozens of witnesses.

Man, this is creepy.

Agent Chen, don't tell me one of those pictures was taken just before the accident took place like in the other thread where you photographed the TSX before its accident.

I was just thinking... maybe the other crash happened because he was posing for the camera he saw you pull out?

You know, that's possible. But that's one of those things that we'll never know.

Unless that TSX dude eventually happens to come on this site and tells us, which is possible.

Of course (need we say), that wouldn't make it AC's fault. But I gotta say, I didn't know it was such a common thing (or, at least not unknown) to have the dig camera right there and to take pics on the fly. And that could have all kinds of direct and indirect consequences. The pics are remarkable and wonderful, but this here fossil, to whom so many things are like "What???" -- can't help wondering.

Oh, I never meant that he would be held accountable for anything... definitely not his fault... it would be the driver's responsibility.

Heh, speaking of watching movies... I was down in TX a couple years ago and at a stoplight there were these two teenage guys watching a porno on a portable DVD player in their Mustang. They had it sitting on the dash so both of them could watch it. Can you imagine if they got into a wreck? "Sorry officer, we weren't paying attention to the road because we were watching a porno." :D

Not that I have any idea there's anything wrong with it, but if I were doing it, I'd be expecting that at any moment a cop might start kicking my a$$....

I don't know, but there were some accidents I saw where news reporters were on the scene shooting video, and the cops didn't seem to care. The cops didn't arrive until 10 mins later for this one. I left as they arrived.

Oh, couple friends are leaving the area for the summer and the weather has been terrific so I've been spending some time driving around in my car. The car is now a mess inside and out but I can't wait to give it a wash & wax this weekend.
