HELP: Anyone in SO CA *HEADLIGHT CONDENSATION HELP*

Does anyone in SO CAL have expirence with fixing condensation on a 04 TSX, please PM me or aim -> itz jOw3 to help me out with tools ( please ).

wish i could help, but i have no experience with them. I remember being in the accord forums before I got my TSX, and there were alot of condensation issues. It must be a bummer.

Is the condensation due to poor sealing? Have you done anything such as switching to jdm or upgrading the headlight bulbs? (just getting background info for other people)

its stock headlight w/ that problem, i would say just go to the dealer and ask them to replace it, since u didnt modify anything related to the headlight. and its still under warrranty right?

I havent touched the headlights once...

Haha unfortunetly, my gf's TSX is wayyy past warranty... no can do =(

Thanks, I've recently asked ACURA when I took my g/f's car in for her dash light recall...they said she has no more warranty due to high milage now and told me it would cost 750-900 to fix -_-'' :jeffy:

As for Kallusive, no more since 2007.

Due to www.Kallusive.com Clothing, team president didnt want to afflicate anything with the car club anymore...

I roll with TWCompetition now :p

just buy some cheap headlights from ebay. You can easily get them without projectors for less than $100 a pair, including shipping, then put your projectors in. Problem solved.

In your case the condensation may be due to old salt bags, but it's not improbable that the housings seals deteriorated.

maybe purchase some euro r jdm headlights ? if your gf is into modding the car

I got a letter from Acura today. They admit there is a headlight condensation problem in 04-05 vehicles. Vehicles under warranty get free replacements, those out of warranty - it depends on the district manager's good faith clause - basically, if you ask nicely, he should approve it, as well. There is a TSB on that, I'll add it to our DIY/FAQ Menu soon

Yes, I've now called ACURA and it can be fixed !!

Just scheduled an apointment and im off to drop it off w. my gf in 10 min =)

2 hour for it to be fixed ~
