ok not trying to be an asshole but from what I can see all noszex has is rims maybe a drop and a mugen grill. doesnt have jdm headlights cause he isnt from the US so they are stock. the picture posted looks like he is front of some drug cartel building. I can pick out tons of cars better than that one no offense that have more done to them already.

recently I have started to see a trend of cars being selected for this that make no sense at all. luckly the last two months have been great. I have also my self turned down two requests in the past 7 months to be tsx of the month as I have been waiting till I am done with my current planned mods.

however I feel I minus well enter now so we at least have decent cars selected instead of cars that just have wheels and a grill cause that is absolutely pathetic in my opinion.

so my nomination goes to TSX536 as it has gone to for the past 3 month as kenny's car is very well deserved of this nomination as his car is extremely clean and he does all his work on his own.

Colts, after this month changes will happen and we have taken all these issues into consideration. My vote went to TSX536 also. These were the best TSX's recently posted by members.. there were better picks, but they replied to me in PM saying they don't want to be TOTM for the same reason you don't. Keep your pants on please.

I think we owe our members a little more explanation regarding any and all concerns they might have with our selection process.

The TOTM process has undergone a lot of changes throughout the past year. There has been ups and downs and we are all aware that it is not a perfect system. But we are trying to better it every month. The past experiences serve as lessons learned. This may seem like a very easy process, but it is not. There is a lot of factors involved and what sometimes seems like an obvious improvement, after implementing it, it backfires on other fronts. There is no point of going into details and no point of trying to justify our past actions. The bottom line is we are not taking TOTM lightly. We are really trying to improve the process, but our efforts can only go so far if our members do not cooperate with our requests.

After Lance left us, we delegated Elan (VorteC) to father the TOTM process. We have noticed and acknowledged his involvement in our forum, including his frequent valuable input. Our forum can certainly benefit from his creativity, and TOTM is one area that certainly needs that improvement.

Since Elan has been given these responsibilities this month, he has not had much time for any major modifications, improvements or suggestions, thus he simply continued the process we had in place, and I'd like to say he did a excellent job on that so far.

I implore every member of our forum to be patient as we continue to improve this process and to support Elan in his strive to better it. I'm sure he will welcome any suggestions you may have. Our staff will of course further that support and will evaluate all options before making final decisions of any changes/modifications to the process.

I also would like to remind our members that their cooperation is extremely important in these matters. The key element is that members should actively try to participate in the TOTM process by promptly following our potential directions, as well as participating in the voting process.

__________________________________________________ _______________
In respect to this month's selection, my clear vote should go to VTEC-hu$tlA, because his car is just outstanding. And yet I have to apologize to him for not being able to make that vote.
I believe TSX536 is also a very deserving candidate and due to our imperfect process he has been passed over for the award too many times. Kenny is also a long-standing member of our family and it is time we acknowledged and celebrated his investment and creation. It is really a very beautiful car that deserves an award and I hope you will all join me in selecting Kenny's ride as a TSX of the month of April. :)

I thought TSX536 has a supercharger. I remember you saying that it's worth points to judges to have a supercharger.

I voted for TSX536 :)

Voted the German Honda :), the car is 100% my taste.
I think it has the best interior with all that leather, with the chrome speakers visible on the doors. Very good taste in choosing the parts.
And I love the rims and drop, too - matches the trim chrome from the windows.

Looks very elegant and sporty at the same time.

I do like a lot the other cars, too - but I can vote only one car :)

Like I had mentioned the previous month, one change that Id like to see in the TOTM voting is mod lists. I know that after the TOTM has been chosen all the mods are listed but it would be nice to know them beforehand when casting our votes.

TSX536's ride is much more appealing when you know whats under the hood.

We DO request mod lists but many members are not active as you think.. especially ones with the hot cars. For example, we requested mod lists for all the nominees this month but only one responded, and that was VTEC-hustla

maybe make that a stipulation of being a nominee and if you don't get a list they don't go up for the vote

it may take longer to get a group, but maybe dropping the available nominees to 3 making the mod list a requirement and just sending out a bunch of offers now can allow you to have members in reserve for upcoming months

just suggestions, just trying to :help:

Like I said earlier, there are many factors involved and trying to improve the process is not as easy as it seems without member cooperation.

oh i completely understand for this month, but my suggestions were based for the future

basically now before april even begins send out 15-20 feeler e-mails and hope to get half back in time to vote for may. if you get half back you have a couple months worth of cars because the ones that don't get voted in can be recycled down the line

not criticizing the work you guys do, just suggesting my opinions and if you like them great, if not that's fine too

Props to Jason (colt) for saying what I had in my mind all these times, hence why I somewhat avoided TOTM and see no purpose of it. A kit, lowered, and rims doesn't make it a TOTM, nor does a guy who just randomly dump alot of money into their TSX. A car should be modded with style, attention to details, and make it stand out from the rest with whatever special, like rare parts or chrome rims.

Also thanks to Peter (pete) for clarifying on what's going on with TOTM. I hope VOrtec will do a great job in the future and if you need any help, don't hestiate to PM me or start a thread, I am pretty sure most of the members would be invovled!!

As for my vote, I would LOVE to give it to VTEC-HU$TLA as his ride is so outstanding and unique, but I gotta give it up to Kenny (TSX536) for his dedictation and contribution to the forum, and his long deserving record of being nominated. Hope you finally get it Kenny!! Good Luck@!
