Am I the only one who finds the avatar the most interesting part of that post?
Actually I'm glad we have all sides of everything on here.
And who knows, that may be the winning side.

Speaking of spelling, what would y'all think of this:
KERRY/KERREY '04
Would that drive people crazy or what? We all know who Kerry is, of course, especially if we can spell, which most people can't. And some of you probably know who Kerrey is.
Bob Kerrey used to be a Democratic senator, ran for president in '92 and did a little bit OK in the primaries but not that well, and now he's president of a small college in NY City. He's also a Vietnam vet, lost a leg in the war. He's probably most famous for something totally different -- he went with Debra Winger for a while.
And although he's not one of the top names that gets mentioned (and I say it would never happen, if for no other reason than the confusion it would create), he's being talked about as a possible VP for Kerry.
Which would make it a Kerry/Kerrey ticket. :jeffy:

LOL! :jester: I'm just now noticing all the feedback about my avatar.
It's true Greg, the only way to go in my book! I wouldn't have figured you for a Kerry supporter being you work in the defense industry.
This avatar has never been a problem in other forums, so if it is here I will change it but remember I'm just exercising my first amendment rights during an election year. ;) It’s not like I’m starting threads and talking/posting politics every chance I get. I posted up a spell checker link in this thread to be helpful and you guys make an issue over my avatar. :hmmph: Whatever floats your boat guys…God help us IF Kerry is elected. Enough said! :)

It's not that I am pro Kerry JP, it's that I am anti Bush ;)
It is true that Bush is good for my industry, but he is very bad for the environment, not to mention the world. I'd sacrifice my job for the planet anyday!
Your avatar is not a problem here, so please do not even think of changing it. :D

Kerry is better than Bush IMO, but still, not an interesting runner up though. :tard:

I think this is going to cause problems. Just seeing that name makes me pissed off. Tell me what is so great about KERRY? and don't say (because he's not Bush). I'm voting for Bush, and the reason is I believe he will be "strong on terror". And I'm for kicking terrorist ass.

Well, you're no different than my liberal west coast buddies in the aerospace industry...so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Sorry to hear that Greg (about last statement)...if you have seen the miracle of life like I have (twice) you might change your mind. So, you will be voting against Bush...how about voting FOR something? If you can find something to vote for in Kerry (I don't own a fleet of SUVs my family does...what an idiot). So, you actually think he will do some "positive" stuff for the environment? I highly doubt it. He drives SUVs, family owns a Gulfstream IV jet, they have 5 mansions to heat and air condition...think about it. He has no core and flip flops on ever issue to suit his political agenda. Bush sticks to his guns and is not afraid to make the tough decisions...he has the moral conviction & clarity that our country needs!
BTW, besides Cali smog & the bogus Global Warming thing...where are the big environmental concerns/issues? I don't see it here in my backyard.
