Background story: Pharmacies usually have a service to help public to dispose their unused meds, and today its one of those days that I am doing such a task. When I opened one of the bottles (Exp. date Nov 1990) I found this inside:

I was like wtf...so I showed my findings to my coworkers and they were shocked as well. We decided to call the local police to send an officer to help us take care of the remains. When he showed up he told me that this is usually used for hunting rifles. When he compared his 9mm to the bullet its like comparing dog wieners to elephant wieners :jester:

never heard of a service like that. at least the the store level. we (walgreens) send overstock and expired meds back to our distribution center but i dont know where or what happens to the stuff after that. crazy find though. looks like .22 magnums.

Did the bottle have the customer's label?! Well, nevermind...it doesn't look like it needs a Rx. It's probably over the counter! But mayn, that's just CRAZY!!!! The person probably didn't realize he stashed bullets in his medication bottle! Either that or it was his wifes bottle and he tried to hide his bullets! haha I have a friend who had to hide her psycho bf's gun from him! hahahahahaha
Then again, that bottle is not as crazy as a patient handing me a "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" container and when I opened it, it definitely wasn't butter! It was the patient's feces! HAHAHAHA I was like...wtf?! I sent her a$$ to the lab! hahahahahahahaa  We don't analyze sh*t in our department! hahahahahaha

ahh another collegue ;)
we do the same thing for overstocks and expired meds too(send back to our distribution center). Those were patient's meds that they don't want/deceased patients.
So which state are you practicing? (wait nvm...AZ right?)
