ALERT!!!!! ***Vr0om is a scammer****

i asked a few question through PMs and payed for the phone. I then bought a new battery on ebay. The phone got to me and to my surprise the thing did not work at all! not with the old battery and not with the new one. He told me that it would turn off after a while with the old battery but it didnt even do that. And it didnt even turn on with the new one. The only way it would work is if i plugged it into the wall charger. But even like that, the only thing the phone would do is beep at me and not acknowledge any of my inputs or my sim card. I asked for a refund but he refused to give me one. Now i will admit he said as is but he misrepresented the item as it was so i feel that i am entitled to a refund. He told me that he didnt know and i understand that, i am not accusing him of scamming me, im just asking that he own up to his mistake and refund my money. In our last communication he said "i dont think i should be held accountable for something that i did not know." I find this remarkable really, he was selling the item and he is the one and only one responsible for the item. BUYER BEWARE! be extra cautious of this buyer.


I got hosed! I bought a phone off a user here in private sales and the thing was not as described. It was totally broken, you can read up about it here . Ive called paypal and they said since it wasn't through ebay, they cant do anything about it. The guy completely refused to refund my money and has since been banned for his asshatness. I called my bank, TCF, and they said they cant do anything about it and to talk to paypal. So now im out 160 bucks and have a broken phone. I sent it in to repair but they estimated me at $120! i could buy a new one for that! So what should i do? should i file a police report or something? can they even do anything? The only information i have on him is his name, city/state, and email. Can they do anything with that? anyways, shitty situation and any advice is appreciated

I just found out that vr0om just got banned from scamming stangg172004 on the other forum. I don't care what others might say but this is a scam. I really want everyone to make sure that whatever you buy from this guy... becareful and try to avoid him.

If you look all the stuff he sold on the blackmarket stuffs are phones. He uses excuse of how he got the phone from his friends and shit but we all that its not true.

hey ya'll dont know the whole story. i told him there was a problem w/ the phone. and bc i told him there was a problem, i was selling it as is. he agreed the terms and purchased. i dont think ya'll should posting when ya'll dont know the whole story. i've sold plenty of items within the past 3 years of membership and everyone been satisfied with everything. this is crazy.
