How many of you got the premium surround sound package?

just curious, i got premium surround sound package on my '05 with an aftermarket sub/amp and it sounds great, but my friend who didn't get the sound package, and put sub/amp in there, doesn't sound too good :\

Wait, don't all TSX's have the same "premium sound system"? Correct me if i'm wrong but it wasn't an option that i had to pay extra for in my 2006 to get the amped speakers? Unless it came with navi?

I've upgraded all my speakers myself, as far as I know there wasnt a special sound system package for the 04's

yeah but he said he paid extra through the dealer for a sub and an amp. no dealer that I know of offers extra audio options.

I think he said he got the "premium speaker package" (which we all have?) and added a sub amp himself, and it sounds better than his friend who "doesn't" have the "premium speaker package" (which isn't possible?) who also added an aftermarket sub and amp himself.

Hope that all makes sense and i hope you didn't get scammed by a standard package that may have been charged as an option?

it was kind of like the lexus's mark levingson (premium speaker package) as to the regular weaker ones

Probably another marketing scam by the dealership. Just like one of the dealerships in Canada was promoting an Integra TypeX (Regular integra with different rims and lowered and a TypeX decal).

Only stereo upgrade I know of from dealer is the IVES or whatever you call it. It has the DVD player and rear seat screens.
