a brand new 2007 Acura RDX.
The SAAB was wearing down, and given the reliability issue, made the decision to change it out for a CUV. I was looking at the Mazda CX7, CRV, RAV4, X3 and the RDX.
The things in consideration were:
reliability
fit/finish
exterior looks
interior looks
price/value
performance
in that order.
The RDX made it for me. Love the taut handling and the performance potential of the turbocharged i-VTEC engine. Gas consumption not fantastic, but if driven conservatively, should get about 11.8L/100km mixed city/hwy driving.
The SH-AWD system is very confidence inspiring. Love the civic style steering wheel, small, sporty...
Got the NAV/TECH package with the upgraded stereo. Amazing package.
Well, now my wife got my new 2005 TSX, which is only about 1.5 years old. Had it polished and waxed to show car beauty, and detailed the leather interior. She is much happier now, having gotten rid of the SAAB. she never really liked the SAAB.
