Stiffer than stock is normal and expected. Actually, I like the stiffer feel than stock. The stock feel a bit too light, too joystick feel. I am sure you will get used to it very soon. BTW, I remember the whole package include the grease as well.

thats correct. now if anyone would help to let me know what grease i should purchase to put on will be great.

i would feel more comfortable knowing that it has atleast some grease on it.

barely has any as of right now.

Sorry to ask, but what "loctite" means and what's the purpose for it ?
I'm waiting for my short shifter to be delivered, too and I have no idea what will be in the box , if any grease or other stuff.
Do we really need any grease there ?

no grease, the loctite is used to secure the grub screws that are used to fix the shifter.

As for the grease..any grease suitable for plastic lubrication.....if you can't find that then good old lithium grease...or any general purpose grease....NOT a spray as it just won't stay very long.

alnug, should this loctite be in the box ?
also, did you use any grease when you've installed yours ?

I didn't even use any grease cuz I totally forgot. By the time i remembered everything was all put back together and i didn't wanna go thru the BS of taking it apart again. I've had it on for like a month now and seems fine to me.

loctite is basically a glue. They'll let u know what to do with it once u look at the instructions in the package.

yes the loctite is in the box.

I used a silicone grease.
