So apparently there's a new phenomenon occurring in the bay area; more specifically, my school MSJ. You know it's bad when CNN is coming to your school on Monday to film about this. You also know something's wrong when your school is 77% asian and 20% white.

He said that, as a result of there being a large Asian student body, "ancillary" sports like badminton flourish, while, one year, the football program had to be cancelled because of a lack of interest.

It's not just schools sports...

People in Toronto (and surronding areas) were complaining that non 'Canadian' students in elementary school, and to some extent highschools, are slowing down the pace of learning for 'Canadian' kids because of extra programs such as ESL. They also complain that because of thier lack of english, the teacher must spend more time with these students as opposed ot teaching all students at an even pace. Families have moved away from such communities to get away fromt he non 'Canadian' familes in hopes to have thier kids learn an environment free from ESL and non english speaking kids.

The sports thing reminds me of the Asian Tim Horton Commercial about the Hockey dad.
