Hey guys...
just curious..
where do you guys get the funds for your car/project??
I know the obvious answer is a job...but even then, is it tax refunds? savings? vegas winnings??
and I know there are some mama's boys out there...'fess up!!
God bless

Student, with a part time during the year, full time during the summer, with a nice loan out for the TSX payments, and the debate between mod money or food during the summer

Pretty much just my job. I pay for my car and all the bills at home. Whatever extra i have I've been spending on mods lately instead of saving up to buy a house.
And dammit i hate MA taxes, I just got my check and they took like 700 off. I could've bought a J's exhaust with no worries.

yo i'm 21 myself doin the same things, all you gotta know is how to really budget yourself from your wants and needs, i used to go out every w/end and party and drink spending money, but go out less and spend less and you'll end up like me doing what i wanted getting my Euro-R.....

i agree here i'm not too sure bout the kidney part but since i been single in the last 2 months i have been able to add Mugen Rims, Comptech Short Shifter, JDM Headlights, JDM/Euro Tail lights, Type R valve cover, Cusco Strut Bar, CAI, Honda airbag cover and Accord floor mats....man the wonders of being single i sometimes think if i was single for those 3yrs i could've of owned an NSX paid out in Cash! :p
I am 19 and I manwhore...
I started manwhoring when I was 12...and saved up until 17 when I first bought my mods. Manwhore is a great profession to acquire car modifications...

Fast?
bluesolara
04-27-2007, 02:50 PM
fast is right!!
the fit has so much potential...with a relatively sub-compact and light body...
it is not a sluggish car for its class...

i don't know about for it's class but there was another thread that mentioned someone with a fit with all J's parts and it was still slow.

How do I afford my mods? Simple... ramen noodles. :D
Actually, I don't have any mods - trying to save up for a house. Having a good paying job helps, but a lot of it for me is just discipline and saving up, eating out less, and spending less on the things I don't really need.
