I just got back on Friday from another trip to the big apple (3rd in 15 months), and I'll be making the trek out there at least quarterly for my job. While I'm not done sight seeing (as if done is even achievable), I got the idea that I should hang out at a club in NYC one night and dance. I'm particularly into progressive trance, but not into the whole rave scene, candy ravers, and drugs. So, those in or around NYC, let me know where I should check out next time I'm out there please. Danke!

Denver. One of the coolest clubs here is the Church: http://www.myspace.com/thechurchnightclub

They used to have a better web page than that Gay yourspace crap but whatever. I'm 30 so feeling young/staying young in the club scene is a rarity, but experiencing new places is always cool. Besides, when I come home it's wife and kid time, not club time, so while I'm away I want to play.

To tell you the truth, the times I've gone to NYC...I don't think I've ever gone clubbing! hahahahaa I think I did mostly sight seeing, shopping, and musicals. And the other time was just hanging out and doing the same ole thing!

I think the next time I go to NYC, I'm definitely take advantage of the nightlife! There's a lot of spots I want to check out!

Anyone from NYC that know underground clubs/venues that play real hip hop?! Or maybe any sophisticated spots a la Sex in the City spots? hehe I'd like to take in the whole experience when I go back! Thanks! :)

Me and my friends go clubbing often, we usually stick to one or two clubs for a while then switch it off every few months... Right now for the best trance clubs you gotta check out Pacha in NYC. If you're here around end of July, I think July 25th, there's this DJ Armin Van Buuren who's gonna spin at a park in NYC... He spun last year at a park under the Brooklyn Bridge and it was amazing

Sweet, I'll prolly be there again in July. Thanks for the heads up! I should also be there in October like a week or two after Columbus day, so I hope to see the colors changing at their peak in Central Park.

Kyoto, I think you mean alone, rather than along. Either alone or with people from work, I can have fun no matter what.
