When someone ticks you off in traffic, what is your usual response?

I'm such a nice guy on the road that I've never even given someone the finger. I usually just mutter obscenities to myself, and it never seems to help. :grinno: Does anyone else get a little more animated in response to bad driving from others?

I have been the recipient of the finger, and I was also mooned once by someone in a station wagon...

It was a station wagon full of what were probably high school kids, and one of them decided to moon me for absolutely no good reason. :lol:

i have a bit of road rage. not enough to stop another driver though. just this morning on my way to work i had a guy in a crew cab ford WITH trailer cut me off cuz he didnt anticipate the off ramp. at first i just put my hands up. he then flips me off along with his passenger. i was behind him for about half mile and decided to change lanes. he slows down and gets next to me so i started yelling. great way to start my day.

people with trucks that think they rule the road and common courtesy doesnt apply to them piss me off.

I don't really have road rage, but I do get pissed off here and there when I get cut off or if I'm being tailgated! I don't usually flip people off, but I do love to honk my horn! hahahaha :laugh:

So, please be careful of WHO you piss off on the road. You never really can tell who's going to be a psycho and run you off the road! I admit, I've done some crazy ish at times when I get annoyed or pissed off by other drivers, but be smart and don't let it get to you!

I live in atlanta so the traffic is terrible and people can't drive here. I typically say something to myself. What I can't stand is when someone rides me. I usually give them a brake check.

it honestly depends on the situation, this one is horrible to say, but there was this time back when I was a firefighter and had the car all lit up, was being tailgated by a lexus, slowed way down to like nothing, guy was flippin at me, floored it got out of there, turned around on a side street and as soon as he passed by whipped out with all the lights going

I typically stick my tongue out at people. I used to flick people off, but I'm not really in the mood to get shot. I actually stuck my tongue out at one guy who was pissed that I wouldn't let him cut me off. He wanted to race me down the street, I let him go. When I met him at a stoplight, he actually got out of the car and started coming toward me yelling at me. I have no idea what he said, except "you are a F*** B**CH". I got that much. But I'm not sure what kind of man gets out of his car and starts yelling at a girl who doesn't look much older than 17.

With sticking my tongue out, I at least usually get a laugh out of people, and myself too.

I had to vote other because I usually do a combination of some the choices above depending on what they did to me. I usually have no problem if it's someone who is driving a little aggressively because at times I do the same. However, if it's someone who is on a cell phone or an old person who shouldn't be driving in the first place and has no regard for other cars on the road I usually use a few choice words that I shouldn't say around my daughter. If someone is just being a complete ass on the road then things get a little rowdy. I've had someone try to race me down the interstate in a beatup chevy blazer just because he didn't like the fact that I passed him doing 75 in a 65. He paced me for a good fifteen minutes and everytime he tried to pass me I would speed up and stay in front of him. Mind you this was a four lane interstate and I was in no way trying to block him (I was in the far left lane and he was in the next to far right lane). It finally ended with me just letting him go because it got boring and he did a flyby with both hands out the window giving me the finger, all this from a late 50's guy....go figure!
