resistance rating.. it can't be just 2 or 4 ohms.. probably alot more than that.. higher the rating, more resistance there is

if your set on that amp/sub combo u will barely getting enough power to the sub. thats if you get the 2 ohm version of the sub enclosure. if you want the kicker zx series amp id recommend the zx1500. it puts out 750 watts RMS (whats recommended for the sub enclosure) at 4 ohms. this amp with the 4 ohm version of the sub will sound better than the 2 ohm sub with the zx750.

how about 4ohm L7 with the zx750 or 2ohm L7 with the zx750? which one would sound better?...

i can't afford zx1500... so i just have to go for zx750 but i can' decide which ohm sub

i should buy.. both are enclosured.

2 ohm. the zx750 it 2 ohms puts out 750rms, just wont be as clear as a more powerful amp under less stress. most people cant tell though.

you got the 4 ohm L7 with the zx750? If that's the case you're wasting your time/money with that little power? Sorry i'm not an expert but i think you should reconsider before you actually install.

If you got the 4 ohm DVC (dual voice coil) L7 just wire it in parallel to get the 2 ohm load which is okay beacase the amp is "stable" at 2 ohms. Then you'll get the most out of your amp. Your amp is a class D version which is great for subs so depending on systems that you may have had in the past i think you'll be satisfied.
