View Full Version : Looking for Caliper Decals
Can anyone recommend a place to buy "Acura" caliper decals?
I've searched eBay, the internets, and all of the TSX forums and have come up empty. I've found several references here of "Jdecals" on eBay, but he is apparently gone (and his service apparently was pretty bad anyway).
Any help is appreciated.

personally what I would do, and this is just me, is lay down a coat of whatever color you want, then paint the part where you'd put the "decal" in white or black, whatever color you wish the "Acura" to be, then Id use the Acura Badge from the back of the car as a stencil, or copy that on to some paper, and then put the color you want over that, for a second overall coat, peel away stencil, let try, there you go

isn't the acura badge pretty big for a stencil on the caliper? our stock calipers are tiny.

Even the front ones?... I havent actually had the Stock Acura Badge on my car in over 2 years, so I was just thinking off the top of my head, make your own stencil then I guess, just use some paper

lol check out this grammar:
Brake disc caliper cover kit is new accessory for enhance the look of your car.
Why you? pay more than $2000-$5000 for upgrade your brake caliper to Big brake kit if you can pay only $80-150$ for change your brake caliper to Racing big brake kit by use Big Brake Caliper Cover Kit.
not to mention the fact that its a cover with name brands on them.

I've seen some pretty bad discussion of these things in other threads.
I emailed and got a reply from Jeff at Flatline Graphix (http://www.flatlinegraphix.com/) who said he could make custom "Acura" decals.
He quoted me a price of $5 each decal. The price is a bit steep, but they would have to be one-offs. Maybe if we had more interest, we could get a better price.
He needs dimensions for the decals, so I need to go take of a wheel and measure.

Honestly I would make your own stencils, and spray it over.
Print out the print, and cut it out. It may take sometime, but it works.

I wonder if the calipers off the TL-S fit the TSX?

Gerardo, I asked the dealer parts dpt. guy that just yesterday. Unfortunately they won't. Too bad though, that would look cool.

tell Jeff that the links on the website dont work with firefox
I took some measurements yesterday... there's not a lot of "usable" space for a decal / paint logo. I may just paint them and leave it at that.

Be tasteful and just paint your calipers black or silver. Don't be fancy and do them in red and put logos on 'em.
Why draw attention to your puny rotors?

Those were my two color choices as well... I decided on silver (TSX is Milano Red).

if the decals were smaller so they fit that narrow lip on the front, that'd be ideal.
