well i got my 06 tsx and i just order some 19' axis wheels for it and i am looking for a good way to lower it either springs or full coilovers....i am scared to drop it because my rsx wasnt ever the same after i put eibach sportlines on it. it was just way to bumpy so i want something good that will keep the same ride but i dont want to spend a whole lot either. thanks

your rsx wasn't the same probably because you put springs on it..keep an eye on the classifieds section for a set of used coilovers or pm one of our vendors and see what they can do for you! or even try to organize a group buy for a set of coils! good luck!

What does anyone know about Tein SS Springs and rear camber kit combo (Possible buy) I don't want a bumpy ride, but still want to be able to corner like nobody's business!

that almost seems like a shopping list! cusco type 2 brace... is that rsb or ftb? coilovers or springs only? I guess it all depends on the feel I want. I do want to be able to hug the road, but I don't want to feel every single bump. I can't stand seeing all the civics in my town bounce because they have super stiff springs.

Go with Tein SS coil overs you will love them.

Go with the Tein SS and ingall camber combo.. along with some sticky tires.. I have Bridgestone S03's

Tein SS is ride height and dampening adjustable so if you want higher you can go higher, you want lower you can go lower.. you want stiffer, you got that tooo and you want softer you can do that.. but you'll never get stock comfortablility no matter what with any aftermarket coilover or shock product unless you get the aspec however its not much of a drop and in my opinion a waste of money...

Not to thread hi-jack or anything, but I have my mind set on the Tein SS coilover. Plenty of people here have talked positively about them, and I like the fact that they're adjustable. My question is what kind of RSB and camber kit go well with the SS setup? WhiteTSX mentioned Ingall camber kit and I've seen that mentioned by others as well. Is the Comptech RSB with the Tein SS kit a good combo? I know that some companies tune their coilovers to be paired with certain other components. I wasn't sure if the Tein SS kit was or not. Thanks for the replies!

Cusco Type-2 brace = Lower Front Strut bar

and... I don't think those civics bounce because of stiff springs, but rather that they have springs on stock/soft shocks. Stiff springs or a proper coilover setup should not "bounce".

All the RSB do the same thing. Generally, you'll want to go with the Progress Technologies RSB since that Comptech one may rattle against non-Comptech exhaust systems.

Camber kits, Ingalls has more adjustment than the SPC/Eibach.

Thanks for the help Horro. I've read that the reason the Comptech RSB rattles is due to the non-polyurethane bushings. Supposedly the newest Comptech RSBs have polyE bushings? Anyone know how true all this is?

As a side note, I may eventually look into getting the Comptech catback system at some point as well. I could deal with the rattling as long as there's no more than just rattling.

I'll check out that Progress Technologies RSB. Thanks again!
