Just curious about what people are paying for gas based on states/regions?
Obviously different prices based on gas company and octane.
So specify what you prefer for your car.
Ohio Sunoco ~1.69 for 87oct.
~1.79 for 89oct.

There is a reason the prices are different at Sunoco and Speedway when comparing the same octane. Just listen to your car and it will tell you. Either your miles/tank figures will be different, general performance will vary, cold starts and engine idling will differ, and there are many other ways that your car tells you what gas it prefers. I will go Sunoco, Gulf, Amoco, Shell, then BP.
My 92 Accord stock is a true race (Ha some sarcasm there), but my old baby likes her Sunoco and hates when I pump BP.
.24 cent price difference x 15gallons(approximate for a 98 I4 accord)= bust out the calculator and
~$3.60 per tank when buying brand name gas
On high performance cars( like my 92 Accord double HA) you might want to be choosy about the gas you pump. That $3.60 saved per tank times the # of times you fill up a year adds up to some loot. I'm saving a lot of money by just driving my Defender 90 Land Rover as opposed to my H2 Hummer (get ready for a triple and quadruple HA).
$2.11/gallon for 87 oct. is expensive for us Midwesterners
But I remember being in Cali last year and gas was around the
$2 mark so that is very bad.
