If I disconnect the battery will I lose all programmed data in my navi unit and radio? I’d hate to lose all my programmed settings. Thanks.

Yes, you will. You'll lose all of your presets and stuff. As for the data within the Navi, like the address history, I'm not 100% because I have aftermarket Navi. Hopefully Pete or someone else will chime in soon.

i BELIEVE the navi system has a built in memory thing where even with battery off all ur stuff wont be erased unless you press on the breaks after disconnecting ur battery and it then will drain all power frmo all sources of the car...

i cant confirm with this 100% yet but thats what i thought i read a thread somewhere talking about this...

No, u do NOT lose any of ur settings in the navi. Only setting u lose is memory seat if u have an 06-07 and most likely your hondata reflash if u have it. Just kidding lol.

Go pick up a battery charge kit from home depot, attach that to the wires before you disconnect them from the battery, will keep the car's electronics hot while you remove the battery for whatever purpose you had
