ok here's the news,
i have been to the garage Pini, and spoken to the expert there who deals with this kinda thing.the company that they get their coilovers fr is called
KW automotive UK LTD
they are suppose to supply all the leading race manufacturers etc etc...
my accord is a CL,my chassis no.
so V1 coilovers with pre-set dampers was offered,KW do not do adjustable dampers for my car type although he said they can still be adjusted.they are german made, stainless steel( inox-line technology ) and TUV tested and guaranteed (german road standards or something, vey strict aparantley)
the coilovers are £720
fitting £240
total £960
the guy said that there could be the need to change other bits if they were worn or old etc.. general service type replacing,no point having great new suspension if other parts around are worn, makes sense.
delivery time for the parts should be between 4-7 days if i tell them before about 2pm.
so what do u think guys?

For what usage you'll drop it?
Had the same problem as you than I went to a shop where they sell lots of lowering kits, COs, springs,...
If I would go with CO I would take either Koni or KW. I like Koni's cause they're not "complicated" that is there's no height adjustibility just how hard you want them to. They drop your car for around 35mm and best of all they work great (experience with Audi TT). KW I would take if I'd use car for a track and I'd have plenty of time playing with different setups. Each change in height means you have to make alignment. For me it's too complicated. You can also look into H&R COs.
For Accord I went with only Eibach springs and I must say the ride is absolutely great. It's around 15-20% stiffer and much less body roll. My wife didn't even noticed the difference in car comfort after I dropped it. The guy at a shop who installed springs said there's no reason to change stock shocks. Their experience is that Accord's stock shocks with Eibach springs lasts around 200.000 km. He also said "don't worry it's a Honda".
This is a car lowerd with Eibach's:

Koni makes only adjustable shocks, no coils.
Eibach only springs .
A friend of mine have Eibach and he's not happy with them because the rear seats lowered than the front , now he wants COs.
KW v1 are for street, basic coilovers (only height adjustable), like H&R CO or like Tein Basic ...
If someone want CO for track will look for something like KW v2,3 or something like Tein SS/Flex .. just my 2 cents

You're wrong. Koni does make COs (http://koni.com/index.php?id=51&L=0). I was told that spring in their CO is H&R or Eibach (depending for what car) but on a spring it says Koni.
And yes it's true rear seats lower than the front. Check the upper picture. Is it alot? I think it's still million miles better then stock however not looking better then with adjustable COs.
If you now what you're doin' than height adjustable is a good thing but you sure have to find a right setup which can take a lot of time and it changes every time you go on a different type of road. And yes you can set it much lower then with springs but than you really have to be careful how you drive it in some rough surfaces and if it's to low you end up being tired after every longer than an hour ride. If thats what you want than CO is a thing for you. If roads would be good that I would go lowest possible but reality is different. I think it's also perfect for people who take the car for a track every now and then.

:)
I know Koni make CO but not for our cars, if they make something for our cars now, I guess that means it's a new product or not ?
By the way from my experience and from other guys which drove cars with Koni shocks ... Koni doesn't last too long on bad roads.

Sorry it really might look from my posts that I'm an "expert" but that's far from true. I didn't wanted to look like that. To sum up I've wrote all that stuff based on my conversation with guys involved in this "suspension" business.
About Koni. I had it on my Audi TT. I first put only Eibach springs but believe it or not my stock shocks "died" after 500km and then I went with Koni. I sold the car with 220.000 km and believe it or not without any problems with Koni shocks. However Audis have problems with front arms (don't know correct English word for it) when you lower a car.
I agree you can't get Koni CO for Accord only spring and shock (Koni jellow).

BTW I was in Bucharest last year and it rocks. I was also in Costanca. I like main avenue in Bucharest where you see HUGE Parliament Palace. How come I haven't noticed before you're from Romania. hmmm.

[off-topic] I'm glad you like your time spent in Romania, if you'll come again, let me know we could meet :) ... by the way a North-American fellow from here thought that Bucharest is part of the Hungary :)
So what have you decided to put on on your accord (I'm talking about suspension) ?

Hehe, theres always problems explaining people who haven't been in Europe yet. Could be that this year I'll be back on business. Lets see maybe we can meet ;). VERY good food you have in Romania, lots of meat and that's what I like. We have even bigger problem Slovenia and Slovakia. Almost the same name but two different countries ;)

I went with Eibach springs. It's much better then stock and still comfortable ride. I like it. However I like how it looks when its really low like your car for example.
I'll post pics of my car when I'll have time to wash it and picture it.
