Just wanted to introduce myslef, My names Dan, im 29yrs old, from NY but live down in Key West, FL (where im currently stationed in the Navy ) i just recently bought a 07 6speed TSX with the full oem lip kit/spoiler/wheels and Navi and i love it, i previously owned a 04 RSX Type-S that I highly modded but im starting a new chapter in my life and the RSX was not in it so i had to move on

I really dont want to mod it but i can deffinitly see myself getting atleast a intake/hondata and Tinting it and thinking about some JDM stuff.

now with Hondata, they makes the reflash for the 07s right? , cause it says 06, NOT 06+...............?

Welcome, and subtle mods (tint, wheels etc.) will make the TSX even better, while still holding on to its class. That is one of the reasons why I got it. So you dont have to really worry about modding it too much lol.

Congrats and welcome! :wavey: Since you want to stay away from overly modifying your car, you can definitely just do what you have listed above! I think that's pretty cool, keep it simple and maybe change the rims after a while...hehe Mine is not modified at all, but I'm still having a hard time deciding on the rims! :(

LOL thats so funny to me because ive had my car for a year so far, bone stock! but the modding bug is starting to make me itch after seeing pics of others cars on here. im trying to swat it away....but its sooo gonna get to me. i keep thinking i'll start small, i'll start small.....and i found myself YESTERDAY doing the following:

looking for tints (yea, minor, innocent enough)

going to stereo shops for quotes on replacing all 8 speakers

shopping around for a back up cam and dvd player

shopping around for rims, trying to find a style i like

looking for fog HID's

looking for 06 jdm headlights

looking for angel eyes

comparing springs, trying to see when i get rims should i just go with the Aspec kit or something else?

performance wise i still plan on doing hondata, which i had planned a while back but havnt gotten around to doing yet, but now i find myself wanting a CAI also (no exhaust though...wanna keep it quit for the most part)

looking for a spec lip kits

im so weak :sadwavey: and i dont have nearly enough money to do EVERYTHING so im gonna start little by little. *sigh*

i wish i just had like $5k set aside, and could do all the mods i want (nothing too crazy) in one day and be satisfied....but of course we all know that even after that....i would want more...lol. its never ending!

guy i know from clubrsx that had a hooked up EP3 just recently got a 07 6speed TSX and said that the 06 and 07s ecu's are the same so 07s can get hondata, anyone know if this is true?

I remember reading that the 07 ecu is different from the 06 ecu in some way. I think it was something about the tire pressure monitor gauge. I'm pretty sure you can't hondata yet.

Just a question though; does your injen have a bend where it connects to the battery? Just curious.

well i ended up selling trhe Mugen Grille to a guy i know with a 07 tsx... shoudnt have ever bought it cause i still have to get my last credit card paid off and i want to do that as soon as possible and getting the $ back for the grille and the $ to get it painted is gonna be able to help me do that

yeah so i bought some of the black tape that covers the chorme on the car, 1st time i started on the sides and it was hot as ballz out and i keeped messing up so said screw this... decided to try the front grill and i took my time and im very happy with it, now i gotta get some more tape :)

put the Trimbrite over all the chrome on the sides of the car and the door handles, it took me 5 hrs but it was well worth it :D, also got the windows tinted ( 20% ) and my JDM grille and rear "H" should be here soon

You'll be good. All filters for honda B series and K series are currently the same. So far so good.. Im sure you'll do your CL9 right. :thumbsup:

so i really wasnt feeling the "A"s on the center caps now that i have the "H"s so i took off the "A"s on the center caps but then i really wasnt feeling the 2 holes on each cap so took some Trimbrite tape, covered the caps and cut around it , i like it , juts Temperary until i get them podercoated black :D

so the Lamin-x has been at the post office down town since the 6th.....:banghead:......but anyways.....as i was about to install the rear i decided i didnt like the way it was in person so i didnt put it on, called them and they said since i didnt undo it i cant get my $ back so i put on the lamin-x for the headlights and fogs,,,

It's blue LED bulbs. Go to pep boys or any major auto store and they'll have them 3157's and 194's will work in almost all the lights, check the light guide at the store.

thats cause u have honda badges now. the average joe doesnt know the diffrence but sometimes people who are into cars do. and im sure it makes them scratch there heads lol...always keeping the average joe guessing!! lol

so im driving on I95 south coming from mayport FL heading down to Ft. laud., i see this green 2door Integra with exhaust, im in 6th gear just crusing at like 85mph and i step on it as im passing him just to mess around so he could hear my one engine mod ( intake ), he immediately gets behind me then next to me, im like " shit i think he wants to race, i wanted to slow to 60ish but i heard him drop so i dropped it into 4th ( 80mph ) and he punched it and then i did, i pulled on him in 4th and 5th, we did it twice, gave each other a thumbs up.


O and there was hardly anyone on the road, i know street racing isnt safe but its technically "safer" to do it with less cars around, otherwise i wouldnt have done it

And like I said before, racing is BAD! :nono: I almost got side-swiped last night by some idtiots racing on the freeway while I was driving home late at night! Barely any cars but enough to hit anyone with their carelessness! Luckily, I looked at my rear view mirror and moved out of the way! It looked like that guy wasn't going to budge and only budged right after I changed lanes which was pretty daym close to me! :mad:

so i went and got my oil changed and tires rotated/balanced at the nearest dealer to me yesterday cause i live on my ship ( Navy ) and dont have anywhere to do it myself.... there was a ASPEC TSX ( auto ) in the show room with black wheels and it was on Eibach springs, when my car was done ppl that worked there asked me if I got it from overseas.....JDM ftw, lol
