15%/35%

Hey,
I was thinking about putting 35% tint on my front windows (including the windshield, but only the top 6 inches), and 15% on everything else. How do you guys think that'll come out?
I'm in jersey, and its illegal to put anything on the front side windows, so idk.

just do 35% or 20% all around. its still light enough where cops may not question it.
right now i have 20% just on the rears cause like you said here its illegal to have anything in the front but i think i may redo it and get them done in the front anyway

Im fron NJ to and I have 35% all around and I think it looks great.

You should do a search, there are a few threads that have people's tint %. You can check out which would be closer to your preference! Bare in mind that the angles definitely do it's trick when viewing tints on a car! I tried to tint my car w/o having it too light in the front and too dark in the back! Sometimes it's kinda tacky for the tints to be two-toned, but since it IS illegal to have anything below a 35% tint in the front, I decided to tint the driver and front passenger 35% and 5% in the back windows! And to me it looks nice, blends VERY well! So, I'm glad my tints doesn't look two-toned and it wasn't a botched job! hehe :grinno:

i did 70% in the front and 15% in the back and i think my car looks great!

i have 35% up front and 20% on the rest. looks pretty good imo

You're telling me! Then again a FEW cops are cool!

I once got pulled over and got a fix-it ticket for my license plate cover and tints...but I think he was actually being nice because he actually caught me SPEEDING! hahaahha :laugh: So, that cop was cool!

But when I went to get my car checked off, that cop told me that any tint is ILLEGAL! I never got my tints taken off and just paid the fine and I haven't been pestered about my tints since! *knocks on wood*

pfffffffffft. dude, i tinted my whole front windshield, windows, backglass, all around wrapped in 38% tru gray. and it looks really dark. if u get caught u get caught, money well spent to ball. the most they tell u here in the cayman islands is to take it off.
