bought mine july 06, been 1 year. has 26k miles. dont really wanna keep it more than this time next year, or maybe nov/dec of next year, so i'll have the car 2-2.5 yrs total. might give it to my wife, so it may stay in the family, unless i can get a nice deal on a trade in. would LOVE to get into the 08 M3, but dunno if the budget will agree. we'll see when next year rolls around what i feel like. for some reason lately ive been wanting a crossover SUV like the RDX or RX 330. we'll see what i feel like next july/august.

I got mine in late April of 2006 as 2005 CPO car with 9,300 miles on it. Right now, I have put just over 30,000 miles on it. I want to see if this car can beat the 113K my Prelude absorbed, so I plan on several more years of TSX goodness.

Probably for a long time...also bought he 7 year warranty for it.
I think there are alot of factors whether you choose to keep a car or not.
I'm at the age where I should be saving up to get married and buy a house so a new car is totally out of the question.
My car will have to last at least 14 years. It's 4 months old and 2500 miles so far.

Getting married and buying a house will suck your savings dry in no time flat. Make sure the car (and credit cards) is paid off before doing either one. I've gotten more gray hairs and stress from the building/purchasing a house compared to 23 years of marriage.

hopefully 5 yrs max
I plan on driving it into the ground. Maybe I can give it to my kid as his/her first car when the day comes. I don't see how some people can just buy new cars so often. If you have the money than I guess it's ok. But if you don't there's better things to put your hard earned money into. I'm trying to find ways to grow my earnings. The TSX continually depreciates though lol.

Usually 5-7 yrs is the sweet spot...
after that you are looking at big maintaince fee and low resale value
So maybe it's better for you to buy used reliable Japanese car
Let the first hand buyer take the first two yrs hit and drive it for another 5 yrs then sell it.
Unless you can fix your own car...then that's another story

I plan on keeping my TSX for another 3-4 years, considering I had it for already over 4 years now. My TSX was one of the first ones to arrive in the Spring of 2003. Currently, I have roughly 43k miles.
My other car I am planning to drive to the ground, at the same time I drive it more than my TSX.

driving it to the ground. 10-15 years at least. any new cars that come my way will be additions, not replacements.
Don't even remember when I bought it, something like Dec16, 2004?? Have around 23000 km on it.
I want to change car ASAP, as soon as I find the right car and money...damn.

usually at least 3 years or when I find another car I really like-waiting to see what the 09 tsx looks like. Have an 06 6spd/ w nav milano red/ebony, bought new 11/17/06 and it now has 18,000+ miles

I only have about 7K miles, but I'll keep this car 10 years or more as long as nothing major fails. We keep cars a long time. We have a 93 Samurai with 45K miles (airport car) and a 99 Miata with only 18K (sunny day car). Once you keep them long enough there's not much upside in selling them. When you know you have maintained a car well it's value to you exceeds what the market it for it can bring.
I bought mine on May 04, so it is over 3 yr old now and with ~65000km on it. I still feel fresh on my TSX and love it everyday even just look at it. I have 2 ways to help me keep loving my TSX:
1, Do mods once a while instead of all in the first place. So every new toy I put on my TSX, the fresh will good enough to last for at least 6 mth.
2, Own a 3-series BMW also, everytime after spending a frustrating day with the BMW, I feel so glad and refresh when I am behind the wheel on my TSX! Also everytime when I look into my garage with both my TSX & E46 park side by side, I feel so good that I have a stunning looking PWP TSX that make the highly praised BMW E46 looks dull & outdated...
So as long as I still keep the BMW, I will keep my TSX, well at least....until the next gen of TSX! :leapfrog:

LOL Brought mine Oct 04 and it has right now 83000KM on it. I really love this baby.
Im going keep this sucker til it the very end and perhaps longer. If the body is still in good shape perhaps dump a newer model acura engine into it.
I actually had an 92 acura Vigor that lasted me about 10 years over 200,000km clocked. For a 92, the interior is very modern and even when i had it in 2000-2001 it didnt look outdated at all.

I will keep the car forever, unless if they come out with an upgraded next generation TSX, such as turbocharged, etc...
I have around 8200 miles, and I bought my 06 TSX in April 2006. I drive my TSX everywhere, and I racked up alot of miles on the various vegas trips =P

For the life of the loan also. Purchase 1/20/2007 w/ a 6 year loan with zero down, $450 a month. 5 and a half years to go, but its at 45000 miles already. Hope it will last because in the 6 months that I've own the car, I've racked 10000 miles.

My car is at my parents place right now (2005, about 35k miles), driving one of our less-used (2006 Accord 4dr, 6 cyl) cars at the moment. I gotta tell you guys, I really miss my TSX :mecry:
I know this car will be with me for a VERY LONG time! :)

Cool..got mine Jan 07 as well(its my second..had 04)much nicer than the 04--plan to keep it as long as is feasible as well.
PS..Its only called TSX in North America I think...even in the Carribean, they are called Accord Euro's...because thats what they really are. I saw them in England first and thought that was the sweetest looking Accord I ever saw, so when they got her as the TSX I was already sold. Good luck with yours...beautiful car allround.

I kept my 99RL for over 6 years and still was daily driving it when I sold it.
this car will probably turn into a hondachallenge H1 race car when I am done daily driving it in about 5 to 7 years.
currently I race a 1989 crx si.
