Hi guys, I am trying to install an Avic-N2 in my lower tray.

Now i have the MP3 Attachment kit, and the USA-SPEC AUX adaptor, so i only plan on running the avic as aux and obviously not replace my stock HU.

Now basic connections from the Avic HU and the brain seem simple, it is the other connections i need help with.

- Passing wires from the lower tray to underneath my passenger seat.
- Getting power to the Avic unit (apparently requires constant power as well as connection to ignition etc..)
- Passing GPS antenna wire to front dash.
- Tapping into VSS signal.
Basically where and how do i connect the power.

I know there are numerous installs like this but most just contain end results and pics with no for dummies explanation to where everything is connected.

I have pm'd a few members who have done so, but figured posting a thread would be helpful as well.

Thanks.

Thanks.

For getting all your power feeds you can just tap off of where the amp is located behind the flip up doors. For running the wires under the seat I would go under the center console.I have the Avic Z1 in that same spot and every thing works great.

Cool, the ACC and constant power are behind there as well?

Thanks.
