I know that the TSX takes the H1 bulbs. And I noticed most of the H1 bulbs are 55 watts, though the MTEC 4X Super White H1 are 100 watt draw. I just purchased some Mtec H9 4350K super white to do that fog light conversion (the yellow foglight and the xenon annoy me and it looks weird. But getting to the point, I thought maybe I should get the 100 watt bulbs. I live in the city and basically never use them continously (mostly flashing or less than 1 minute at times through some unlit turn on the highway) First I wonder if I will blow a fuse or even if the wiring is capable on the tsx, and two would it melt the something in the headlamp? Also if I were to use it for sometime would there be some damage?

This is the bulb in question

100W wil generate too much heat.. You should use 55-60W to keep it safe.. some bulbs like PIAA's will draw 55W but output the equivalent of 110W.

Honestly I only use the high beam sporadicly. Flashing people to say go ahead and turn etc or in dark turns that are unlit when I come home for work. I just worry that the fuse will blow if I use 100 watt bulbs. Heat generated is secondary if a issue.
