sound system playing mp3 disc?

i have a question, don't flame me guys. i've used the search button, but didn't find the answer i was looking for. i was wondering why can't the tsx sound system play mp3 cds? we pay like 30K for our cars (ones with navi) and it don't even play mp3 cds. my cousins honda civic for like 18K could play mp3 cds! can we or can't we play it? we even have a 6 disc cd changer, and it don't play mp3? that's really weird. the lowest end cars play mp3s? is there anyway we can make it play it? without having to purchase the unit? thanks guys :newbie:

nope. only options for mp3 are the factory acura mp3 player or a portable mp3 player.

its probably because they didn't change the unit from the original car. Its expensive to update especially after you speced everything. I woulda like a cd player that also reads texts and the radio to display text too.....my friend's fit does that but the car also came to America last year so they get to get the newest thing...... Get an ipod?

well you can use the steering control.

Im using the USA spec ipod control.

Its pretty handy.
