Okay so a few things. To run a sub in the TSX do you have to replace teh stock head unit. If so it looks like to add a cd player you can only add it where the cup holders are and then the stock unit has to stay in there? That would be pretty funny looking? Is this true. Please throw up some pics. THanks guys, Richard

NO you dont have to replace stock head unit, the rear speakers are 6x9 in size, but are essentially "subwoofers" since the signal has a Low Pass Filter. You could theoredically get a low line adapter from them and wire up an amp and hook it up that way. Or just replace the 6x9's with some speakers with better frequency response like i did, pretty much sounds like a 10inch in the trunk. MB quarts work well, theres kicker who makes free air subwoofers in that size as well.

Some good ones here (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5151_--+CRAZY+CLOSEOUT--+--+Clif+Designs+QX6950.html) - although the rest of the unit is going to waste.
But it's got good "spec'd" bass excursion, so should be a worthy inclusion in the car.
