ok, from what I've heard, installing a factory navigation unit on a non-navi tsx can be a taunting project which requires a lot of modifications. (remember this post: http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5856) There is a guy on eBay that claims he has brand new factory navigation units for those looking to upgrade, that come with an "easy installation kit." They go for around $2400 plus another $300 if you want him to install it for you in NYC area. Looking through his feedback, he's been able to sell a few Acura/Honda kits. The ebay item number is 230154279631.

Look at his auction and let me know what you guys think? Is this just another huge 3 day project or is it really installable in 10 minutes without voice recognition, or a couple of hours with the steering wheel VR switch (as he claims in his email to me.)

im thinking of this, for 2700 you could get an alpine deck with 7" screen that is also a built in DVD player plus their DVD based navigation and have a killer aftermarket system. (if thats your cup of tea of course)

might want to check with a local dealer to see what it would cost and what parts are needed to do this switch.

im thinking the voice recognition would be diff to get either way.

I'd be weary since it'll take you at least alot fo time to remove the centre console and install the DVD rom in the trunk.
