i wouldnt drive that modded tsx in Southeast...or PG county. Most of the TSX's in my area seem to be women drivers. My friend had one before he totaled it a few months ago.

Actually, SE isn't bad, depending on where you're at. If you're on the <i>inside </i> of the Anacostia, it's alright.

I'm not too far from Capitol Hill/Lincoln Park, but am far enough away so I feel like a lightbulb on the metro in the morning. I haven't had any problems with the neighbors, as there are people with higher end cars then mine around here.

Any of you guys have much in the way of mods? I got my 1st, Comptech ice box. :woot: More to come.

im pretty much stock. i did the usaspec adapter install, tinted my windows, changed my hids to 6000k, and did k&n filter swap. im saving up for intake tho. how do u like ur comptech?

I like the comptech. I'm kind of impatient, though, and was getting tired to ****ing around with the resonator box, clips, bumper parts, etc

It took a day and a half. mostly because it was rainy, cold, and I didn't have a metric ratchet set.

It's definitely louder then stock, but not in a riced up civic kind of way. You'll notice it, probably just because it's yours. I think my TSX is a little faster now, but it may just be psychological. I'm getting Hondata in a the next few weeks.

wheres that at bro? and if you know victory, its long. we sit one car one end. another at the mcdonalds at the other end. spotters. and if we get enough people. we set runs, and have people ride through the neighborhood by victory. just to check it out, see whats what. we live around here, so we know pretty much where the cops like to sit, but we have started to chill on it, because it is gettin more cop prone, and its to many potholes now :[ ...its not the smooth pavement they redid a few years ago. their makin a new harbor thing and a possibly ANOTHER power plant, so the trucks have been doin a number on the road. i kinda slacked off when a brick flew up from a truck that was by me, hit my right front rim, and i have a huge scratch on it.

PDPGPS, I think he drives on Victory Blvd in Portsmouth, VA, about 3 hours away from DC.

Even so, I'm sure fines for illegal racing are quite high in the tidewater area, as are any fines that you can get 100,000 military 18-23 yr olds for.

At least once a week, I saw a body bag @ the intersection of (what used to be) rt 44 and 64 (to Va Beach), and usually a lot of biker packs on Jap 600s tearing it up down 64W.

the reason being is that the police are very unaware of the racing and speeding problems here locally and they are just now starting to crack down, and in very very severe ways. In some locations if you are caught racing- your car is crushed at the junk yard. You have the choice of watching it be crushed or not. I have been pulled for reckless driving, im only 18, i have my tsx courtesy of my girls parents co-signing for me- so yeah, trust me they dont play.

lol dedeman. HIN is a import car show, not limited to imports. Basically a show where people show off their cars for competition. There are lots of sponsors so you can get free stuff too. Models, celebrities and performances, bboys and all that. Past year's I've seen Jin, Paul Wall, and Mos Def. Some import model superstars like DJ Lady Tribe.

its usually packed. so get there early or towards the end. lots of kids, high schoolers, to the hardcore enthusiast.

I'm going to take the plunge and get an adapter, and it seems that USAspec is the one to go with. But, I've read in some posts (not here) that you lose navi, and just have a screen that says "connected" or something like that.

hey dedeman, I actually don't have navi so i couldn't tell you. From other members' posts here on the usaspec, it seems that you can keep your navigation. It would seem to be such a waste to lose something as expensive as the nav option just so you can have an ipod connection in my opinion. I think someone did a write up how to install with navi. i fortunately found mine on craigslist, a college student was selling his out of his accord. I got it for 110. I believe in the usaspec thread soem people linked sites where they got the adapter at a great price. you might want to check those out and see if those promotions are still good. ebay is a good resource, just make sure your seller has a good rating etc. $249 is a bit excessive...unless the store includes installation and lifetime guarantee on its services lol.
