View Full Version : Age Poll !!

Thorn2004

I was trying to get an age spread of the TSX/Euro owners here, here in Australia the V6 Accord has been marketed at the 35-50 market, the Euro however seems to attract younger people because of its sporty design and great features!

Now be honest, you have nothing to fear about telling the truth, we are all friends here! ;) :Pumpkin:

Hey, LawMan, and welcome.
I was going to give a link to some post where I talked about this, and also to a thread where people talked about dealerships around here, like on the Northeastern Regional Forum.
But, to my astonishment, there don't seem to be any such threads or posts, at least not that I could find easily. No threads devoted to NY area dealers, and no posts where I particularly talked about my dealer. :donno:
In fact, there are no threads at all that show up on Northeastern -- the forum is completely empty! (Looks like it only shows stuff from the past 30 days, and there isn't any.)

I did get my TSX at Acura of Westchester (which is in Larchmont, as I guess you know), and I've been mostly happy with them. The buying experience was great. On the service, there have been some disappointments and glitches, and my experience there hasn't been as great as it was at Martin Acura in Manhattan (which doesn't exist any more), but it's been largely good. I would recommend the place.

After all, if I didn't feel that way, I wouldn't still be going there myself.

Edit: There are a few threads on the Northeastern forum, but you have to work a little bit to get them to show up (and it's not that easy to see how to do it). Only the ones from the last 30 days show up automatically. And indeed there aren't any threads devoted to dealers in the NY area.
Anyway.....It probably would be good to adjust the default setting of the site so that older threads would show up.

Sounds good...was very disappointed by Paragon Acura in Long Island City, so I guess Westchester it is. I know Martin Acura doesn't exist anymore, but what about Acura of Manhattan...have you been to them?

No, they didn't exist until I wasn't living there any more.
After Martin Acura closed down, Martin Honda was still there, and that's where I got my old '88 Legend serviced for the last couple of years. Worked out extremely well. Any Manhattan dudes who might be looking for somewhere to get great Acura service, you might consider Martin Honda -- although they can't do warranty work.

Please let us know how it works out at Acura of Westchester or wherever else you might wind up going.

Cool, good to see another Aussie here , I am from Melbourne mate :D What sort of Euro did ya get, what model and color? Do you like it?:) I am getting a Arctic Blue Euro this weekend, with the OEM spoiler and tinted windows !

Wonder what the location of Melbourne is in degrees?

I've got an 04 6MT in Nighthawk Black Pearl with full asthetic options - (Optional bodykit and interior silver metallic trim). Yes it compliments nicely as my daily car, the only thing I don't particular like is the size of the wheels from factory and the instrument cluster - The Acura TSX has the right gear I'm expecting to purchase. Otherwise I have no real complains.

You can find the longtitude/latitude of Melbourne from the link above or from any geographical website.
