i don't like the butt... just like i don't like the butt of the accord coupe or sedan :(
why do they do everything right then mess up the back end of the car :(

I actually kinda like the back end of the new TL. But I DO agree with you about the butt of the Accord coupe & sedan. It's jacked up. Especially the back of the Accord sedan--cuz it doesn't have that sporty look to it anymore like it used to. I haven't even seen one hooked up yet. In my opinion....I don't think there's too much you can do to it to make it NOT look like a "family" car....
u can get the honda sticker off in the back and put a benz sign and s600 on the side of the trunk lol :D

don't know how successful it will be tho
I perfer the tsx cuz i like the size of it.. don't need any huge sedan just yet...
but in answer to "Reniece19"
im thinking maybe just maybe the reason you haven't seen a hooked up accord sedan is cuz people really haven't had time yet... but i think your right overall in saying it's much more towards the family sedan now... it'll take a lot to hook up the accord sedan to make it :eek: sexy hehe not like my car ;)
I went for a test drive for the 04 maxima yesterday and WOW this is an amazing machine.. 18inch rims kinda looks big but the bucket seats in the back and its very fast smooth ride but i rather get the 350z for that price :D

Didn't even know the 04Maximas were out. Saw a black one the other day and that thing looks good. I would say great if one would mess with the stock grill.
I think the 04TLs are for those that want a V6 in their TSXs. The exterior of the new concept looks like a spicy TSX/JapAccord. The Tail lights of the concepts look like the ones on the 94-97 accords , but really resemble a Volvo S60s'.
I wonder if they will be built in Japan or the States?
From the clear pics, Thanx tsxclub, I think the new 04TL concepts look superb!

The new maxima is not hookable at all maby a cold air intake but its too wide and long made just for luxury the new altima 3.5 is sepposed to be faster as it weighs less
Nissan is crazy to kill the maxima name like that and push the altima I used to see maximas like civics now i see alot more acuras,hondas,fords,infiniti basically they screwd themselfs just like acura did with the legend and the integra now 89% of the people dont know the difference between the TL,TSX,RSX,NSX,CL,RL same with lexus i dont know the names of most of them :D
.... they should bring the twin Turbo Nissan Skyline to the u.s and discontinue the maximas lol :D

So they're changing the name of the Maxima? What to? Yeah, and I also hate all those 3 letter names and numbers for cars. It confuses people. Cuz I don't the Lexus names nor the BMW names....
i donno about changing the name of the maxima but they are sure taking it out from the sports sadan category and putting the altima in for it. and the Sentra is taking the Altima sales basically what nissan wants is some sales from benz,infiniti,lexus, buyer group.
Maxima in 91-94 was very sporty then they made the new shape for 95-99 and that was a great car 190hp,v6 and not too big for a 4 dour.. then for 00-03 they started changing it slowly in to a luxury sadan almost changing models every year.. :( will see probobly in 2 years they will make something new again..
what sports sadan looks like a ship and has a skyline view on top with a navi lol its like a cadi and the E class benz now :D

That car looks really good. It's just that the front looks almost exactly like the TSX. Hmmm.....aren't they gonna be upping the price about 6G's for this version?
the back looks like the new maxima and it will also prolly have 18's this car will have a 10grand difference if not more :D because its pointless for them to relese a car that looks like the tsx and has 4 grand difference with a V6.. $38k+ is my oppinion..

Very sharp car! A V6, navi, and all the goodies of the TSX+some is going to be an expensive car. Can't wait to read up on the specifications and performance of the car. Definitely more luxury and performance than a TSX. With performance in mind a 2.4L I4 w/ a turbo theoretically should be faster than a 3.2L V6
( assuming they are putting that in the (04TL)). As for styling the 04TL looks like a spicy TSX! A turbo and some aftermarket products for the TSX and I think I can put together(not literally) a nicer car than the 04TL. :p
I really like the front end of the 04TL because the front bumper seems to be flatter and doesn't protrude as much as the TSX.

I hear all these people saying things like the new TL is nothing but a beefed up TSX. This statement could is so far from the truth. The new TL is 275 horse power and will be available with a 6 spd manual transmition. This is the way Acura should be going and I cant wait until I have a chance to drive the new car.

It will also be available with the blue tooth technoligy, wich for those of you who know what that is will be better than any intergrated car on the market.

The only use for BlueTooth use I can find in a car is for multiple cell phones or CD Changers or something like that. It doesn't make a lot of sense in car as far as I can see....and why all the bad publicity with the Accord?? :confused:

I just remembered why I didn't like coming here in the beginning...
that was over two years ago, and yeah the TL's front end looks like the TSX, but one had more power, the other had more sporty feel. Thats how I look at them.
