I am also from Columbus Ohio and test drove an automatic with Navi this past week. The dealer (Acura in Dublin) made it sound like they were hard to get and that I might have to wait a while to get the one I want (a carbon grey Auto with Navi).
I guess it is probably a bad time to buy one now since my local dealer claims that he is selling them before they even hit the lot. So there is no way they are going to deal at all. He wasn't willing to give me a break on anything.
I want to get...
2004 TSX - 5-Speed Automatic with Navigation System (Carbon Gray)
Luggage Net
Trunk Tray
All-Season Floor Mats
Door Edge Trim
Moonroof Visor
Full Nose Mask
Door Visors
Splash Guards
Wheel Locks
17” Aluminum Alloy Wheels, “Silver Star”

i checked out the tsx
wow

I'm in Cincinnati and got mine April 23, but I had to go to Lexington to get the one I wanted. I don't know how dealer inventories are now, but the dealers in Cincy only had a couple each and nobody seemed willing to trade. I love this car, it's much better than I remembered from the test drives I took. I'm from Columbus originally - go Bucs!
I went with Black auto with parchment, no navi.

I don't know if I'll do much in the way of tinting or new wheels, I like the way the car looks as it is. I think it will be interesting when the time comes to replace the tires. I've been reading a bit about Hondata and some of the modifications they have for other Honda/Acuras. I might bite if they ever do anything for the TSX/K24 engine.

Lancaster Ohio here.
Hardcore Dodge fan (love the mighty v8) and have never had any problems with any yet. My son will be driving in December and will be getting our old 1992 Dodge Shadow. Poor kid. Belive it or not I DO love 'em. Car is a good first car. Only has 75,000K. My wife and I will be needing another vehicle. After trying all the rest, including the new Charger, the TSX was the best one for us. Bye Bye Dodge. Still have my tire-shreadding Dakota, just not the best on the fuel. Or curves for that matter. But man, to me there is nothing like the roar of a V8. It is a 4x4 that has never seen off-road. Just cant bring myself to get it scratch up. Heck, I got it new in 2000 and just last month turned 25,000k.
Have done many mods to the truck, but now its time to try the import tunner thing. Plus, I love the look and feel of the TSX. I know Honda Q is second to none, so considering the amount of miles I drive, this should last me for the next 12 to 15 years!! Anyway, my wife and I are going on a cruise in March, and the day we get back(well next day) we are gonna pick up the new member of the Fam!!!
Do you guys do any meets around here? Central Ohio or anything? A friend and I have set up 4 Dakota meets here in Lancaster, one in Logan, and 2 at the indoor gocart racing place called Speeds in Columbuis Ohio. Come to think of it, we are meeting there on the 19 of THIS month. Anyone here wanna go, your more than welcome!! I wont have my TSX yet, but you will see some Damn fine Dakotas!
Anyway, sorry about the ranting, and I hope to learn ALOT about the TSX here.

Thanks Joker. Nice to be here. I'v been looking around the site, and I like what I see. One Question, about the new 2006 TSX, anyone know if the price is going up, and if so, how much? I can't seem to get an answer at the dealer, as they don't have any yet.

I don't think we know for sure, and I'm surprised.
We've heard people talking about prices they've been quoted for the car, and it seems those figures have all been BELOW list price of the '05's -- at least from how those posts looked to me.
I don't recall that anybody mentioned being told what MSRP (list price) would be, nor did I get if those quoted prices were definite -- or just tentative, pending the word on MSRP.
In short: I don't think we know. :donno:

O.k . Thanks. Lower price? Man, that would be fine by me. Also cant wait to see what the new Royal Blue looks like. My Dak is Black, and I love it, but it only looks clean for about a week before I have to wash it again. When I detail it, it takes me 8.5 to 9 hours to do it the way I like it. And thats just the OUTSIDE!! But when I'm finnished, you could read a newspaper in the reflection. The deeper the color, the deeper the shine!
If I hear anything from the dealer on the prices, I'll post it here, but you guys are WAY more plugged in than I am. Oh, any one here up for that speeds meet?

HEY MODA_WAY!! Great to see you! I see that you've been back for a while, but I hadn't noticed until I saw this post..... :tard:
That's what I get for spending too much time on the OT threads!

I thought I was banned... must have been somewhere else. :D
Yeah, one of the mods saw my TSX Key mod and wanted to post over here, so I said sure. Then was asked why I wasn't a member... long story short, I post over here now and then. It is blocked by the proxy at work whereas the other site isn't.

Moda-way -- were you really banned on one of the sites? :donno: :donno:
BTW......It might be a thing for us to wonder about, that this site is "blocked by the proxy at work."
(The reason I put it in "quotes" is that I have no idea whatsoever what it means.) :D
I wonder if it's anything in particular about this site, and anything that could be remedied.....

Somewhere in the metadata of the forum code is the word "chat". The proxy server (sort of a filter) prohibits any sites that have this word in it (amongst other words too).
I was really banned from a site, but again, I'm not sure if it was this one or another one. I'm told it wasn't this one by an admin, so who knows.

I'm SURE you weren't banned from this site.
I've been here just about since you were here, and although I'm not one of the "powers-that-be," I know that you couldn't possibly have done anything close to where bannage would even be considered.
That kind of stuff might go on elsewhere, but not here.
Actually I can't understand why you might have been banned anywhere else either, but as we've seen, all kinds of weird stuff can go on in some places.
Like, there's this one site that shall remain nameless where they do it just recreationally.
P.S. Thanks for the comment about the "chat" thing. It's great that you were able to pin it down to that.
I imagine the mods/admins might be interested to know about this. I'm going to reference your post for them in the "Suggestions" forum to make sure it doesn't escape their notice.

Ok, if you don't know yet, the price DID go up for the 2006.
2005 msrp = 27,190
2006 msrp = 27,890
So a few more ponies, memory seating, and driving lights, and STILL a better value than anything else I'v looked at. Just happy they didn't put it outta my reach. Heck, I can deal the price down a little anyway.

Hmmmm.
There's that "27,190" figure again. :donno:
As per what we're discussing on the '06 pricing thread, I was never aware of anything other than a $500 increase for '05 over '04, i.e. $26,990.
I wonder if it was increased by another $200 at some point in the middle of the model year.
P.S. (edit) Looks like that's exactly what did happen.
Justin answered it on that other thread.
