TSX Sighting...but not in a good way...

Tonight I saw a white TSX at a road block on Granville Bridge, and unfortunately it got pulled over by cops...hope whoever it is going to be ok...

hee... it is kinda of different here Joker.
The cops here are lame. They don't care whether the product has been approved or not. Let me use exhaust for example... there is a law saying "you can not alter the tips of an exhaust or remove any buffle (sp?)". To me, it means, if I buy a mugen exhaust, and not changing the tip or removing anything inside the exhaust, then I should be ok. However, cops here is actually comparing the exhaust you have on the car with the stock. That means, any exhaust that is not OEM is illegal because tip size and number of buffles will never be the same. Yes, this is how lame the police are in BC.

Only one way to make aftermarket exhaust legal is to do a vehicle inspection with the new exhaust (or other mods) on. However, cops here just don't care. They can hand out a vehicle inspection even if you can prove that you have passed the VI with those mods already. People can apply for a VI withdrawal.... but going thru all the troubles.... not really worth it.

every summer...but it depends greatly on sponsors, no sponsors...no fireworks...it is on the last wednesday and saturday of july and first wednesday and saturday of aug...

They give out many tickets here too but usually its only when they see you are doing something wrong. Cops hate when you drive too fast, pop U turns or run stop signs, change lanes like crazy ect.. Other then that they wont bother you too much. When they do a road block people with tints usually get tickets :D
