Anyone substitute only the factory air filter with K&N? What are your observations? Butt dyno or measured dyno? Inceased intake noise? Improved mpg etc.

I am suspecting that it is the cause for my engine light.... let u know later.

From what I've read on the internet, it looks like K&N air filters let too much debris into the motor. They've done tests with different types of air filters and found that some paper ones flow as well as a K&N, but filters much better.

yup... I think apexi is da best for filter.
More harm than good. If you don't have a replacement air intake system, the OEM air filter would do a better job. Drop in filters have little to no improvements at all.
