I"m looking forward to owning a TSX in about 2-3 months or so but my only experience with Sterling Acura (SW) wasn't all that great. I was there test driving a TSX a month ago, and the sale-rep was not very helpful. I ask about the price and if they were consider to go down a bit from the MSRP and what I got from him was nothing but a bunch of bull craps about how this car is a limited edition and they would not even consider discounting. He was rather intimidating rather than bein' helpful and his really fobbish accent (no offense) didn't make it any easier for myself nor my partner next to me. So, where else do you guys consider buying in Houston? And what's the best price you've gotten so far? Any recommendation?

I bought mine from John Eagle on Hwy 6 near I-10. I went through the internet manager. Bought it the first week the TSX was out. Got $2000 off of MSRP which was decent for a 'new' model plus 2 years scheduled service. rrrrrrrrr6 Anyway, the new internet mgr there is Mark Wedgeworth - bought my wife's RSX-S from him at invoice $21805. No hassle deal. PM me and I will give you more details.

I bought mine from Gillman Acura off I45 and Rankin, NW. I got 4,000 of msrp.I bulshitted about how the clutch was smelling funny and complained that i am losing interest in a damaged vehicle.Only downside is that i was in the dealership for about 4 and a half hours!..But i got my price and i recommend Gillman

What i didn't like about Gillman was they did not what to take my 1999 Accord EX V6 with 85000 miles for trade. They wanted me to go to Car Max, get cash for trade then return to buy car from them. Nice customer service, huh?

I think I would have taken my trade in, and my money to another dealer.

Try speaking to the fleet manager of the dealerships you go to. They have no problem discounting the car. The problem with dealing directly with the sales guys is that eveytime they hear "how much can I get this car for" they really hear "so how much can I steal out of your pocket"...Bah, they are stealing out of YOUR pocket! So just deal with the managers if you can. When I bought my TSX, I dealt with the sales manager and we neged on the price.

But, start calling the fleet mgr of different dealers. They should be able to get you a quote over the phone.
