This is not a good idea, particulary for a country where hostage-taking for ransom is common.
Our list of allies grows thin :rotz:

I think it is ok... the war started for a nonsense reason anyways...
you can't expect people to sit there do nth when you do the invasion :)
not worth to see more people die...

I also think that we are there for the wrong reasons, and wish that they would bring our boys/girls home!

I also think that we are there for the wrong reasons, and wish that they would bring our boys/girls home!
I agree, but to pull out under threat is a sign of weakness and a bad idea.

The Filipinos were going to pull out anyway. They might as well do it now, so they can save one of their people. Isn't the occupation over anyway? The IRAQI army is getting stronger by the day, I would suspect the countries with fewer troops there to begin pullouts as they have been...just not all simultaneously.
