...documents IN HIS SOX!
"But law enforcement sources told CNN that some of the papers he is said to have taken from the National Archives were stuffed into his socks as well as other parts of his clothing."
CLICK HERE (http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/20/berger.probe/index.html) for Pravda West's story on this!
If you want to believe that a National Security Adviser would "accidentally" hide classified documents in his sox, go ahead! (And I've got a a nice antique bridge in New York you might want to invest in!)
Berger is also an adviser to the Kerry campaign. Iowa Electronic maret has the "asked" odds of something like 3.2% net for someone other than Kerry getting the Dem nomination. Could this be why? Hmmmmm?
In his underwear, yes. But socks? No. I don't believe that. I mean, documents are always falling into my underwear, but never my socks.
:D
Seriously though, do you even believe that he snuck them out in his socks? I'm going to need more than just conjecture before I believe he did that at all, as opposed to "accidentally" doing it.

Yeah. I just checked inside my sox ... I found 10 toes, some lint ... but, gee, no top secret documents! :D
Mr. Berger and his lawyer have admitted it.
"...some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Clinton administration's handling of Al Qaeda terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration are still missing, officials and lawyers said. Officials said the missing documents also identified America's terror vulnerabilities at airports to seaports."
"Berger and his lawyer said Monday night he knowingly removed the handwritten notes by placing them in his jacket, pants and socks, and also inadvertently took copies of actual classified documents in a leather portfolio..."
I think it's reasonable to ask what, exactly, was in those missing draft documents.
"Johh Deutch, a former C.I.A. director, became the subject of an embarrassing inquiry into whether he had downloaded classified intelligence documents to an unsecured personal computer that he used to gain access to Internet sites. On his final day in office, President Clinton pardoned Mr. Deutch, who was in the midst of negotiating a plea agreement with prosecutors on charges stemming from the accusations."
Stuffing classified documents into one's trousers and sox seems a little more serious than inadvertently bringing a laptop with a classified file on the hard drive home. So this looks awfully bad for Mr. Berger.
Martha Stewart's jail consultant may be available by the time he's convicted....

Yes indeed.
Any ideas????
BTW total fantasies and fabrications are fine. :D
When someone does something like that, he's asking for it.

Larch, you don't have any liberal voodoo to spin this in the Democrats favor?
No big deal...right? It's OK, as long as you are a Democrat. If it was Condi Rice, the Democrats would have her in an orange jumpsuit sitting in a cell next to Martha Stewart. :rotz:
