View Full Version : 3.2 Engine
TSX69

DaveDiego poster has noted that in the following video there is a 3.2 trim level for the TSX. Could this be a 6 cylinder variant in the works? Many have already commented that there is plenty of room left in the engine bay for a 6 cylinder. This engine would make sense as the rumor is that the 3.5 & 3.7 go into the 2009 TL so this would help differentiate them.
The turbo diesel 4 cylinder has been confirmed & I remember someone @ Honda/Acura previously hinting that a 6 cylinder may arrive.
It is apparently around the 3 minute mark:

I am pretty confident that there will not be a 6 cylinder added in the 09 TSX (possibly not even in future years). There is lots of extra space underneath the hood and this is mostly to deal with the Diesel engine that will come either later this year or in the 2010 model.

A 3.2 would increase my chances of purchasing one.

Something's wrong with that pic. It looks like Acura just pasted a pic of the 09 TSX on the info for a TL. If you look at the vin, it's a 19UUA..... which is a TL, and it has a 3.2 V6.
Sorry, don't see a TSX coming with a V6.

Yeah I agree since TL's are assembled in the US, the VIN# will start with 1. TSX's are assembled in Japan so the VIN# will start with a J.

To be honest, the new TSX with a V6, would be over kill. If it was the RDX engine, that be perfect.
