Putting the names of the mods back on the front page?

Is there any way to put the names of the mods back on the front page?
(i.e. the Forums Home page)

On the old format, the mods of each forum appeared clearly on that page, and it was a very good thing. I think one of the best things about it was that people from other sites who stumbled onto our site would immediately see respected familiar names as mods of the site.

And, not only don't the names of the mods get shown as they did before, but as far as I can tell, the names of the mods don't show anywhere, at all!
I don't think there's any way at all that someone who's browsing could tell who the mods are.

Edit: I took a closer look, and I see that there's a "View Forum Leaders" button on that page.
But look at it this way: I didn't even know that! I think we'd have to say that it's not a terribly obvious thing.
For sure, most people don't know about it, and a casual browser would be extremely unlikely to see it. And virtually nobody would click on it.

It should be made easy for people somehow to be able to see who the mods are.
And the best would be to put the mods' names next to each forum on that main page, like before.
Or something.

This new version is different then the old one, hosting company recommended not to install any new hacks as it will slow down the forum load time. As the site grows with more posts + members we will need it to load as fast as possible without any delays. :eek:

I think an easy way to let people know who the mods are, is to put it in their title :thumbsup:

Exactly -- that's what I meant too, that's how it used to be.

I guess they're saying we can't do it, or that it might mess things up.

But, no denying it, it's too bad if we can't do it.

what about in the area that Ray has the announcements at ? True you would have to go to each forum, but it is better than a button
